Here in WA State this verdict would result in the "State" having to pick up the defendant's legal bills. ALL of them. Prosecutors now don't just "Charge 'em and let the Court figure it out".

This is the law I think is a good idea - "the loser pays" concept that - if you cannot personally sue bad actors that have government agent immunity - at least you can hit their budget for the cost to defend our rights - all of which involves my taxpayer money...

The Whatcom County Chapter has finished another Pridefest in Bellingham. There was not the five thousand they had last year, attendance was down quite a bit.

Business was brisk, we did quite a bit of outreach. I had only one negative all day, SVG had one, and Boomboy had several. Not representative of the crowd. Orlando was on all their minds.

I want to thank all who worked the outreach booth at Bellingham Pride. A great deal of time and effort has gone into encouraging a "target community" to defending themselves through the Constitution via Open Carry.

SVG, Boomboy, Bjorn, and a new addition, Eric worked diligently to tell the OC Story. Others attended , Samantha and my Son helped also. Thank you one and all. You epitomize the words, Citizenship is a Verb.

Had a great deal of requests to get the monthly meets going again. Looks like the crowd may a bit larger than we used to have. Might need a bigger venue.

OK Mate, August is almost here....suggestions??

I saw an individual I had spoken to long ago while shopping with my Sweet Baboo. He asked about the picnic and apologized for missing it. He seemed sincere (I am a cynic) and I took him at face value. He was invited to our next luncheon.

We are becoming very relevant in the public's eye. This is an opportunity to do a great service to the People who live around us. We are not policemen, we are Legally Armed Citizens.

I would like to try to attend ND I would suggest Bloedel Donovan again but I noticed at the picnic that seating seemed to be at a premium. for an old, fat 1.5 lunged geezer like me standing for very long is somewhat difficult.

Out on my daily parade yesterday and I had an odd question. A young lady in her forties came to me while shopping. She politely asked if the law allowed someone to openly carry as I was. I replied in the usual and she accepted that. Thinking I may have had a "prospect" I offered a brochure to pique her interest. She declined, and commented that I was a responsible Citizen. I thought it odd at the time.

Yeah, going to press cider today instead.

Missed ya

Good turnout, abut fifteen or so folks. Found out we were in a "gun free zone". SVG found it on the stations website. One woman got a tad miffed with Boomboy for being Armed. He informed her of State pre-emption and we ignored her. Public place.

After, almost all showed up at my house for BBQ.

I enjoyed the meet and greet and am looking forward to next month - wherever it may be. Thanks for the invite for after function, as well, though I wasn't able to attend.
