REMINDER!!

LUNCHEON/BRUNCH AT THE FERRY TERMINAL
Well Ladies and Gentleman it appears as though we have been "challenged".

There will be a luncheon on 8 October, 2016, starting at eleven. (UPDATE ON THE TIME IT WILL BE 11:30) The location will be the same as last time, the Ferry Terminal. We have been informed that it is an illegal "gun free zone". Rapgood has sent them a "C&D" letter but they have chosen to not (yet) reply. Pre-emption disposes of this "GF" zone. We may say it a good deal, but we have to live it, A Right not Exercised is a Right Lost.

Join us for lunch/brunch and support the 2A in Bellingham.

Out and about with my Sweet Baboo on her new motorcycle. We stopped by the TENEX gun shop in Blaine. Kind of hidden away, but when you walk inside..........it is fun. We were greeted by friendly people and exposed to a very nice variety of firearms. OC friendly and a staff that just wants to make you happy. The offer class 3 for any of you "stamp collectors" and smithing services to include cerakoting. US$15 transfers and US$35 for NFAs
Stop by, support Local business.

Port Authority

The Port authority had their meeting on Nov 1st. No mention was made of the "C&D" letters sent by OCDO members.

We will continue with our plans for a luncheon at the same location as October, the Ferry Terminal. Luncheon will begin at 11:30 am Saturday the fifth of Nov and last until we finish.

MSG just a sudden crazy thought to have somrone make an open records request for all cease and desist letters they have received but probably protected under potential litigation.

You don't need to know what kind of device or tool was used to send this

I'm sorry I wasn't able to attend this get together. Can you give us an update on how it was and what was decided?

Been out and about, no worries. I have had several Citizens remark on 1911s. Everyone seems to love them. My Sweet Baboo and I were in a restuarant when a Canadian engaged us. He was truly amazed at the freedoms we enjoy.

On Friday morn I was sitting at a traffic light, Sunset Square, when a young lady ran a red light and hit another car. The other car slid across the street and hit my car. Police soon arrived and things were handled. About forty five minutes later and everyone went on their separate ways. Absolutely NO mention of openly carried firearms. The LEOs just took it in stride. Very cool in comparison to just ten years ago, eh my friends?

Belive it or not, I happened to be driving by moments after above detailed car crash. Sarge was busy with medical assistance to one of the injured as I was driving by. I am guessing that the young lady was probably engaged with her cell phone as she ran the red light. She even told the LEO "I guess I was distracted." [emoji844]

The two snowflakes were unhappy with my less than joyous attitude and complained to the LEO. He asked me to be polite, I asked if being an azzhole' was illegal. He said it was not, and I agreed. Boomboy came to my defense.

The Womens March

We went to the rally and walked in the parade. Well we could not just walk, we walked with a ten foot Open Carry banner. Boomboy started, in his best command voice, to tell the women that they had the right to protect themselves. He got great replys.
The whole thing was mostly positive for open carry. Citizenship is a Verb, we were just telling the Open Carry Story.

Well.....have not posted in a while. Things are good in Whatcom County, we have all been out and about, telling the Open Carry story. Seems to be an uptick in positive contacts lately.

We have a few things coming up, such as The Sky Valley Motorcycle Show, the B'ham Pridefest, and of course, the Annual Picnic, this year is #7.

And any chance we get to take our banner out in public.

I was out on my daily parade yesterday and had another guy tell me that he wished he was brave enough to Open Carry. There have been a few extra people making that comment lately.

I bought a pistol from a friend in AZ. He shipped it off to my local FFL and I went in to do the NICs. Well anyone who knows me, is aware that I cannot pass a NICs. No, I don't get denied, I get delayed. I get delayed because my cousin, same name, is a union thug in PA. No worries I expected the delay. I was givin a proceed and picked up my pretty little 1911. I was happy.

I get a call two days later from my FFL and he admitted he made a mistake on the paperwork and we had to fill it out again. Minor mistake, but it must be accurate. I took the pistol in and we did a new NICs. Delayed again, same pistol, same guy, same info, still delayed.

Does anyone have a upin and has it been successful for you?>

I have a UPIN. I was delayed everytime I made a purchase from a dealer, until one time it came back denied. It took more than a year with an attorney to clear it up with the feds and to aquire the UPIN. I was wrongly denied, but the government will not allow you to purchase until you prove your innocent from their own error. Since having my UPIN, I have used it over ten times and have never been delayed again. Get one, it is not worth the risk of a wrongful denial, trust me.
The insanity of it all was I was informed that my denial only affected my ability to buy firearms, I was informed by NICS/FBI that possessing, owning, or carrying was allowed and my CPL was still in effect.

MAY 2017 Luncheon and planning committee

Come on out and fellowship with like minded individuals who value Freedom and the Second Amendment. The May luncheon will be held at the Farmers Roost Cafe. The owners have invited us to their fine establishment and support the Right to Bear Arms.
This is a family friendly place and the food is great.

Arrivals will start at eleven thirty, 13 MAY 2017 and go on for however long we take. The menu is included below so you can get a jump on your order. Efficient eh?

We will be discussing our event schedule for the season to include the Sky Valley Bike show, the Annual Picnic and more.
