OC Great Bridge Subway today, and OC around the shop after a crackhead came by looking to buy a chevrolet f150... :banghead: We dont sell cars, we fix em, and it wasnt even on our lot, and its wont no damn F150. Kept coming over on our lot peering in car windows on vehicles i told him were NOT for sale.

Been CCing more often than not lately. I find I do not have the time lately to potentially risk getting stopped by curious citizens or LEO.

Yes when I am in a hurry and don't have time for conversation I usually CC. I also CC when I am a bit grumpy as I don't want to portray mean people OC-ing. :) I don't know why but some days there is an angry black cloud following over my head with small lightning bolts flashing. :) Typically if I am in a good mood (usually) I OC and am happy to converse with any person interested.

Visited Bass Pro shop, Lowes, Autozone and Chipotle. walked past two LEO's while leaving Chipotle's and didn't even get a second glance. I love Chipotle! I think I'm getting the hang of this.

I have heard that cici's pizza was anti and asked OC-ers to leave if they weren't LEOs.

Welcome! Read up and enjoy the flow of knowledge mixed with humor. :)

Had an interesting interaction at Wal-Mart.

After having shopped around for approximately an hour (went for clothing detergent but got everything but that) and received a couple of stares from store employee's, I was heading out the door and a man (I have to assume he was the 'receipt checker') called out to me, paused, looked at my weapon, paused again then waved me on.

I was mentally preparing to not allow him to look at my receipt, but I think he simply didn't feel up to challenging an armed man.

I also practiced my right to not produce my identification when using my CC.

All in all, a good night.

I also went to Walgreens, I actually got the detergent that time. :monkey

I never want my gun to intimidate regular people in the public - will stop and talk sometimes to the greeter/checker.

But...........if they ask for my receipt, I do say, "No thank you" with a smile.

I agree. I don't want or intend my weapon to intimidate, and I did consider stopping and talking with the checker but he was busy with another less-informed customer. However, I DO intend for the weapon to deter persons who have reason to be affected by it. Bit of a catch 22.

I've been told that my general demeanour is most often interpreted as some level of 'PO'ed'.
(Over a decade of posturing and ordering while in the military will do that to some of us) I've been working on that by smiling more. I'm all grins while OCing.

OC'd without realizing today. American Fastener on Indian River in Chesapeake. Bumped my exposed gun with my hand going for my phone and realized it was out of my shirt. The sucker was sposed to be concealed today, haha. Saw a chevy outside with a woman getting something out of the back seat, had orange guns save lives stickers on it. Didnt have time to chat, was working.
