I was cleaning out my truck in my driveway and just happened to have my Kimber.45 on my side and noticed a couple of individuals walking down the street looking into parked cars and talking on the phone. I casually went about my business and continued to clean but kept them in sight. As they approached my property and watched them look into my car that was parked in the street, I stood up and looked over at them and said with a nod "How's it going?" I guess I startled them because they jumped a little and they said "not much" and one of them looked my way and you should have seen the expression on his face. I noticed my neighbor was outside in his yard, he was carrying too, and the two individuals looked over at him and then back at me, pulled their pants up, and picked up the pace a little. I looked at my neighbor and said "What was that all about?" he shrugged his shoulders and said "Beats me". Some people.

lol. I got a reaction like that in the Bottom Dollar a couple weeks ago. three 16 year old kids was looking at me, which was showing my strong side G19. One said "damn, that man packin" and his group left the store in a hurry.

Carried through Barns and Noble for some Starbucks, McDonald's, and the cigars shop in that new outdoor mall . Got some stares and a few "good morning, sirs". I want to let em know I'm not LEO, cause lets be honest, I'd I wasn't OCing they wouldn't have said anything. I want to say something but it seems rude to me to turn back a friendly greeting no matter what the cause. I always respond in like form and smile back.

Oc-ed around the last couple days, Carrabas, Food Lion, Farm Fresh, ACT Tumbling, The County Grill, Walmart, Exxon.

No issues.

At the OC dinner at Carrabas we talked to a couple people outside the restaurant and handed out some OC info cards.

OC just across the York River bridge.

I'm new to the forum and just wanted to let you folks know there is a new restaurant at Gloucester Point that is as gun friendly as it gets. My shooting buddy helped his daughter open EggHeads just across the bridge in the shopping center with West Marine. Gun friendly, good food, and the cheapest breakfast over here. Hope to see you there!

UPS, Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Gas stations, Mexican restaurant in Edinburgh Commons and Farm Fresh to open a bank account lady asked if thats a real gun and she told me one of the employees is a big gun person so I gave cards out. Also while at BB someone knocked on my window asking for me to go get a battery or something. Good to be OCing don't know what people are going do. So many people out, lines are long, people say good day sir and have a safe day now(???maybe they notice now) I must have been to Walmart 10 times in the last 7 days. Maybe its the blutooth headset..

OC-ing while fighting Christmas traffic and crowds.... Dick's, Target, Ulta, Chili's.

Traffic was HORRIBLE so I don't plan on going out much more this YEAR. :)

Totally agree about the traffic - think I'm done too!

OC'd @ Target and WalMart in Norfolk, Kohl's (Pembroke) and BJs in VABeach, Barnes & Noble / Harris Teeter / Old Navy / Office Max and Broken Egg Bistro in Chesapeake. If you've never been to Broken Egg Bistro, they run a $10.99 prime rib dinner on Saturday night that's pretty good!

Where is Broken Egg Bistro? I have never heard of it.

Thanks

there's one off of harbour view drive (inbetween hwy 664 extis 8 and 9)
and the other is off of south greenbrier pkwy.

i like the harbour view one better, as it seems newer and less cramped of a dining area.
and i like to sit along a wall at a booth, instead of in the middle of a room at a wobbly table.
no matter where i sit the food is good
