May day

in Lacey:
Cabelas - talked with folks selling their labrador puppies out near the parking lot, went in and looked around for awhile; nothing special caught my eye.
Wally-world - did some grocery shoppin'
Costco - empty holster, but left the magazines on the other side. (twin .45 holder on the left hip).
Talked with one of the vendors there about "MAY DAY" and "what all that means..." like minded people are everywhere, I tell ya'.
Safeway - last minute stuff.

Man, what a beautiful day it was! Y'all be safe.

Sunnyside Beach Park in Steilacoom bbqing and enjoying the sun, lots of people there and no problems at all.

Now I'm at Night Owl hookah lounge, owner and one other employee are working the place. My friend Jeff and I are both OC, only question from them was what kind of gun. Great place, nice and relaxed and OC friendly. They don't serve alcohol so it's not a prohibited place. Check it out if you're in the area!

I'll have to agree with you on that one. A gun owner for decades, but never OC'd until I met a few of these guys and found out about this forum. There is lot's of good info to be found here.

OC'd on a walk around my neighborhood this evening. Just because... :)

Cheers!

Some places I have been before...

Best Buy... a little browsing...

Costco.... went in a sloppy CC and came out OC... no comments...

Thats my favorite, I do that a lot at Costco. No words yet. Funny thing is I got stares for the time I wore my empty holster in. But none the time I entered and left OC. Go figure.

...this afternoon. Found I had a bad brake light bulb (1157) on the hack, so tried @ Lowes - no luck. Nice conversation with one of the cashiers though. She recommended a little auto parts shop, Cut Rate Auto Parts - I love that shop(!) hardly ever go there... anyways, I found the bulbs in Safeway, so I didn't have to go over to CRAP.

Got the rig back together, hopefully tomorrow it'll be nice enough for a long ride, seat those new rings and get the gaskets nice'n hot so they'll seal. :)

Top Foods and Sharis on south hill in puyallup.

Just a few looks.

Top Foods should be dialed in. Ron Bashaw (Store Manager) is very much aware that OC is legal. I used to work in the store as a distributor and would show up after work OC. That store is fine.

Shari's has asked me to cover up and stated they are anti. I was, however, excited to hear you got no reaction at that location. Mayhpas they are turning over a new leaf. Thanks for posting!

Tooled around on the HD OC'ng

72nd Pacific - Wells Fargo/Safeway
Out on the highway....a few nod's, one double take
Out to the HD dealership to make an appointment...nada

Up to North End Tacoma, Pearl Safeway again and the Ace Hardware next door...I need a little set screw for the Colt. Had a nice chat with one of the staff...he was very OK about OC in the store. Told me to bring in the Colt and they'd try to match up a set screw to work.

Back to the Wells Fargo on Pearl and 30th, and stood in line. A young female (15ish) ahead of me with her dad, spotted the Kimber and pointedly avoided eye contact....sidled around to the front of her Dad and whispered "Dad, that guy behind us has a GUN"...Dad looked around (furtively), I smiled and he whispered some more at his daughter as I got called out of the que to another window, took care of my banking, had a nice chat with the teller about bowling...and headed out. No problemo'...jumped back on the bike and after a swing into the starbucks off Mildred, headed home.....pulled up in time for the yard guy, still there. He knows I carry, but today he pulls a little .380 auto out of his pocket and shows it to me and the wife. After I put the bike away and went in the house, the wife says "Seems like everyone has a gun!"

No, just most of us, says I

Nice afternoon for a ride :D

Sadly, I cannot carry at work any more. :( I'm now working for a large construction company and most of our jobs happen to be schools. I did make it out to the Yelm Starbucks tonight though to be a part of the Goose road show. :)

Did he say "Here look at this gun" or did it sound more like "Aquí, eche una mirada a este fusil"?

No, he's Irish...but I did offer him a little soft side, inside the belt holster because it seemed dangerously close to a "mexican carry", and I didn't want him to shoot his boys off cutting my grass.

That would be terrible. To think that you had a couple of "Mushrooms" in you yard only to find out that they were ------
