4/23 Downtown Seattle

I was in downtown yesterday because the sun was out and it was in the upper 60s....

Spent several hours at Pike's Place market, the waterfront, Westlake, etc...
Because of the sun there were thousands and thousands of people... I packed a few brochures in my pocket and waited for a question, waited for an adverse reaction, waited for bug eye's :shocker: ............. but nothing, not a word, not a peep, not a cross eye'd glance.

SVG, I always OC in dt as well and have never had an issue. It's nice of you and I to show others that it is true. By the way, we watched a beautiful native dance and ceremony near the totem poles yesterday and I thought of you as well as the late John T Williams.

Nice! I never appreciated native dancing, drumming etc, when younger now that I am older I really enjoy the beauty of it.

(side note) My great grandfather carved those totems.

At Bradley Lake right now and since 1:30pm. Talked to a couple people about the fishing for a minute and they didn't notice. Got one small look after i walked by another so far.

Only 1 encounter at bradley lake. He asked what I had and then said what is he liked and didn't like. I brought up the rally on saturday and talk to a lil bit about it. Very positive.

Saturday

Had a nice hike around Chambers Creek, found that the signage is still wrong...wrote a letter to Pierce County Parks to take care of it.

Rode the HD around town OC'g the Kimber .45, as it was such a nice day and shirtsleeve weather....down to Point Defiance, lots of BBQ's going on, a few waves and nods (mostly to the bike), out and down to the waterfront, and back up through Old Town. Caught a gawker gal driving a Volvo in North End, giving me the stink eye at two lights, looking a little freaked out, but then she pulled off.

Down to Lakewood and then back, ending up in U.P. around 56th at the light in the LH turn lane when a U.P. squad pulled up on my right and a big white SUV on my tail. The squad pulled through the light and the SUV followed me around the corner, down the hill and through the round-about.

He exited right, I pulled through and up the hill....no contact....and a nice ending to a great afternoon.

Safeway Tumwater just shortly ago! No issues. One guy in the checkout line asked me opinions on holsters. He has a 1911 and is having a helluva time finding an OWB that fits well.

Told him that a 1911 should be displayed in leather  and he agreed. Told him about OCDO to get his 411 on OC'ing and WGO for classifieds.

Was down at the capitol Saturday. Lots of guns displayed and lots of armed people. I saw thigh rigs, rifles with mags inserted, carried pointing up and down. There were LEO present women and children present. (kudos to the kid with the acr looking airsoft slung across his back). And absolutely nothing bad happened.

I even heard people debating and arguing and disagreeing about issues politically and personally no one made a move for their loaded weapons.

Excellent!..........because there were more loaded rifles than what was seen at the street level.
