Went to re-up my registration today at the dmv on west flamingo. It was ridiculously busy, but i had no issues with the staff there. I went out for a smoke while I wad waiting and found a very small patch of shelter from the rain, where i invited another smoker to stand next to me so he could be out of the rain. Our conversation eventually led to him telling me about living for jesus and all that jazz. Im not a religous person, but I let him talk anyway.

As we walked in I held the door for him and he noticed I was carrying. He said "Wow, whats the gun for?" I told him it was for safety and he asked if it was legal to carry like that in the dmv. I said that it was. He then asks "Is it real?" I just kinda looked at him in a confused state and said "yeah" His response was priceless:

"Thats spooky, man!"

I just smiled and thought to myself "it takes one to know one"

Went to joes crab shack with the girlfriend today after a visit to snow jam at cashman center. I wasnt so sure if I would get hasseled for trying to carry in there, so I left it in the car. If I was alone I would have tried, but I didnt want to inconvenience my girlfriend. I had her take this picture at the door while I ran to the car

Was there metal detectors? If not, you could have concealed if you have a CCW permit.

I still don't know if the tenant of a show has rights to prohibit via trespassing (I honestly think he should), but that is a permanent sign on the facility, and in clear violation of state preemption, like every other city and county facility. We had someone at a gun show there a few years ago who refused to disarm. He was hassled non-stop and detained, but they wouldn't dare write him a ticket or arrest him.

No, a public building needs signs OR metal detectors to prohibit concealed carry. If signed at every public entrance (and I'm pretty sure it is), the signs do make concealing illegal there, and you CAN be cited and arrested for that, if caught.

That said, I don't think a tenant can claim private property to enforce trespassing AND have the building retain public status for making concealing illegal. Unfortunately, it will work that way in practice until it gets to see a courtroom.

Yes, I remember Merlin was hasseled big time with his kid. I wanted to avoid that type of situation with my girl present. If I recall correctly he was cited for tresspassing

Heck yeah.

A 32-year-old Carson City man faces misdemeanor charges of being in violation of a suspended sentence and possessing drug paraphernalia after he was found by deputies early Tuesday hiding in a garbage can.
The man was arrested...

This NRS has been a battle for years as it is used and enforced to stop all weapons. This NRS they refer to clearly only stops concealed firearms. The one government facility that agreed to allow open carry past this NRS is the DMV.

Open carried today at Fry’s electronics, All over Bass Pro, Kmart S. Eastern, Henderson looking for that confutation not to happen and was successful.

Yesterday saw 3 Front Sight persons OCing at the Pahrump Wal-Mart.

How did I know they were Front Sight students? They were carrying assuming empty and without a mag inserted. This it is a requirement at Front Sight before leaving the range line the firearm it to have the mag removed and chamber emptied.

When I was at Front Sight they did said once off the front sight property it is legal to load them up. I did talk to the three and told them they were legal to carry a ready to go firearm. They said they knew, I asked where they were from they said California. I said while you are here you should take advantage of our gun laws.

It boggles my mind how some are blind to the dangers of open carrying an empty firearm.

They are from Kalifornia, they are partly programed to think a loaded firearm sound only be in the hands of a LEO or the military. Not 100% brain washed yet but well on their way to being goverment zombies.
