I see your signature line on this post?
Thanks
Apparently it is now in the rest of them also. Slight delay in setting changes I'm guessing.

It seems that the old software would not display vulgarities, replacing them with cartoon cusses. However, it remembered them, and they came through the transition in clear text.
Just an FYI for you guys to handle however you choose.
@John/Mike
Can we get a button that we can click that takes us to the part of the thread where we last left off? Like on the old forum, this is all I used to do this is very frustrating without it! Ahh...
Thanks Guys,
BTW a darker color sceam would be better thanks again!
Actually there is one, it's the little round thing right in front of the thread subject as on the first 4 shown here...
(Of course THIS software has no idea what you've already looked at with the OLD software, so you are starting new. THIS software doesn't think you've read anything until you read it with THIS software.)
HTH!

I haven't even tried looking at this forum on vB with my Pre yet, Gogo, but the others I admin that are on vB work just fine. I'm ready for a bigger Pre, though, and one that's a bit more, uh, "rugged."
'Invisible Mode' apparently just toggles the asterisk on and off, my name stays visible in the 'Users Online' box.
Will external links to the old board still be able to show the board or be redirected to the new board?
For example, For gun rights advocates, open carry puts the law in the public eye has a link to the old forum. Right now it says 'admin login only'
I saw those while I was active on the forums last night, but since I've logged out, gotten a little sleep, and logged back in, all the forums I was watching lost that button. I think this is what eastmeyers was referring to. The "remember me" option may or may not fix that, but I don't like using that option on any of the sites I use.
This is low priority,if there's a solution great, but if not, I'm sure we can live without one.
Is there any easier way besides the manual "subscribe-to-one-thread-at-a-time" method to re-subscribe oneself to all the threads that one has posted to from the import?
Everyone might not want to do that, but I did make use of the e-mail notifications when subscribed threads were updated. It was especially helpful for threads that are in forums that I don't regularly visit.
The information is obviously there, our post counts came over, and our user names are still in those old threads. I guess it's just a question of whether there is a transition tool that can do this.
Whenever you get a chance.
Thanks,
TFred
Is there a post over there about it I could read?
This thread - Tapatalk Error - and the one it links to.
And I'd like to add to the thanks for the change to vBulletin!
