Actually, I removed the custom YouTube code I had created when I noticed that there is an insert video button standard that handles

email notifications & watching threads

So will email notifications start coming soon? I haven't received a single one yet.

Also I don't see buttons to watch a thread if you hadn't replied to it. Some conversations I like to watch but don't have anything to add.

Ok thanks I was used to the button and didn't think to look in the tools pulldown menu.

Any idea on when email notification will work?

Edited to add: I think I found a field in the profile that allows emails to be sent immediately. It had something about control panel only??? I'll see if I start getting emails.

As for email notifications, they should be going out. I am certainly getting a lot of them. :lol:

If you are not receiving them, scroll to the upper right of the screen and click Settings. On the Settings screen, there will be a box entitled My Settings down on the left. In there, click General Settings and look at your messaging options. The Default Thread Subscription Mode:
needs to be set to Instantly, via email.

One more little thing

The ad banner at the top of the page interferes with seeing the user panel. I know the panel is there, and if you hover over it, you can see it highlighted, but is there any way to either lower the banner or reposition the control line?

Vulgarities

It seems that the old software would not display vulgarities, replacing them with cartoon cusses. However, it remembered them, and they came through the transition in clear text.

Just an FYI for you guys to handle however you choose.

I just noticed that I still have the problem of not getting email notifications on subscribed threads from here or icarry .org.

I have all settings set for such, and have checked my spam folder many times....and get nothing.

I also noticed that my signature don't show up either.

Aside from those two, as I posted before, very nice
