I am thinking hard on NOT cooking to feed an army.

Maybe cold brewed coffee would be a hit.

Well as much as I can, you guys just lucked out that I got shelves full of stuff I need to clear out. So I'm bringing baked beans and coffee. Should be enough beans for a few people. I certainly got coffee coming out the ears

There is enough parking for 3 disabled and probably 35-40 others. If the lot is full, Overflow parking is available by coming through the Tremont St entrance, and go to the far end.
Signs will be posted at the Jackson St entrance.

I didnt read your links,,,,but Iced coffee and/or tea would make more sense,,, it is summer!!!

Ice/cold brewed coffee NOT iced coffee two totally different things.

Ice/cold brewed is a long (12-24 hour) cold brewing process. Iced coffee is a hot brewed process that is then cooled.
Cold/ice brewed coffee, IMO, tastes better and is much less bitter with much better coffee flavors.

I know this is going to be a "face palm" moment for many of you question, But since this will be my first time going OC in Washington and not having a Concealed permit yet, Am I wrong to assume that I can have my sidearm on me but not with a loaded magazine in it for the drive to the park. If this is incorrect, what is the best way to handle the situation?

I have not OC'd since I moved from Virginia over 15 years ago, so while i have read and think I have this states rules correct, I just want to check so my first OC as a WA resident does not go pear shaped.

You may carry a firearm empty chamber with no magazine inserted in your vehicle.

There is no requirement to store ammo out of reach. You can have loaded mags duct taped to your forehead if you wanted...

Will anyone have I-591 petitions at this gathering?????

If not, I can bring some as I plan to be there... at least that's the plan right now...

Thursday hearing set in Thurston County on I-594 challenge

A hearing on challenges to the ballot title of Initiative 594 is scheduled Thursday afternoon in Thurston County Superior Court, and today backers of that gun control measure are using the occasion to solicit donations with an alarmist message once again blaming opposition on the National Rifle Association and “a tiny group of ideologues” that include two attorneys, one from Everett and the other from Vancouver.

I implore everyone to try the homemade salsa if it makes an appearance.

Unfortunately, I will not be in the state this weekend so I won't be able to make it.

I hope everyone has a great time!

If I were to insert a magazine into my vehicle, where would I put it? lol, I know what you meant, I couldn't resist.

Is anything specific needed? If not I'll just bring some stuff. I do have a sturdy table i'll bring also.

Gloves off in Illinois, guns on at Kitsap Co. park

Following Tuesday’s last-minute adoption of a concealed carry measure in Illinois, gun owners there now demanding that they be allowed to immediately begin packing defensive handguns, and the Illinois State Rifle Association has filed for a permanent injunction against the state to make that happen, according to ISRA Executive Director Richard Pearson.
