Sept 11 veto override session

A lot of good people worked hard to make it happen last time. All it took was two "good people" to trash all of that hard work. My patients is wearing thin.....but not worn out, yet.

It will happen, it must happen and we must not give up! I was totally pissed with loss of the veto over ride. I was ready to just say the heck with it. 4 years ago I told some one here on this forum I would get an OC bill to become law. I speak wit hhim from time to time, I originally told him I could get it done but it would take a while. I guess I was right there... It is taking a while but I really have high hopes for the 2014 session. I can honestly say it will be my last stand. Gettimng tired of this fight is very accurate. Just 24 hours ago I spoke with another person on this forum, retired like myself who has the desire to press for legislation and who I've met up with in Jefferson City a couple of times. He has soem good ideas, we'll put our heads together and get to work. The big question righ tnow is "What will the Second Amendment Preservation Act look like when it is again filed in Jefferson City? We all have to wait for that....
Stay tuned, January is not that far off.

I will not say "heck with it." But I will not sit in front of a computer screen and simply whine about the two "good people" who trashed a great deal of hard work by other really good people. I will work to have them removed from office the next time their seats come up for citizen review if they pull a stunt like that again. I will not tolerate "I voted for it, before I voted against it" politicians.....ever.

Gotta keep trying, however that is easier for me to say as I sit at my cubicle 8-5 Monday-Friday.
