This is Texas, not New York. The trend is to strengthen our rights. The laziness of the legislature hurts us more than helps. It's how they kill bills they know they can't vote against without hurting their re-election prospects.

Instead of having to explain why they voted against a popular bill, they just get to claim there wasn't enough time. That's why we didn't get LOC last session.

Texas has a reputation of being tough, conservative, pro gun and so forth..... That's why I left DPRC.... Once here, I quickly came to realize there's a lot of talk and little action around here.... Had I known better I would have opted for one of the more libertarian and pro gun states...... With that said it's time to make Texas live up to its reputation and make sure the liberal hatred of Texas is well warranted.......

Spoken like a true Patriot.

If you get tired of Texas, give Idaho a try.

Great gun culture up here in the Panhandle.

Yup, Texas is a lot of talk and very little action. The truth is our politicians don't really support the things they claim they do. With the legislative session being so short and recurring every other year, it allows them to maintain the status quo without having to answer tough questions like "why did you vote against this bill you claimed to support?"

That's why I don't want them lazing about during the legislative session.
