Linda and I had a great time meeting folks for the first time, in person. If we didn't get around to you, Iwaswearing the dark blue ball cap and yellow golf shirt by way of description of myself.

There was a report that one of our friendswho walked to the park open carrying was harassed by the police during his walk to the park. Is that true? If so, what are the details on that?

He was stopped by an even dozen of Warrens finest. They un-armed him, detained him for roughly 10 minutes, returned his weapon and was released without incident.

Perhaps some members of the Warren PD need moreopportunity to see lawful open carry and become lesssensitive about it? Shall we think about a walk downtown, shopping and dining, sometime?

Sorry to say I missed the rally today. I have been a gun rights activist for about 10 years now (although i have been slacking the past few years) What I want to know is, What can I do to help out and do my part? i'm leaving for the woods and trails of northern michigan in the morning, but would like some info on future gatherings. As far as "picnics" and "gatheriings" go. Constantly check the site. We have been having a get together (not a rally) at least once a month. The next scheduled get together is for September, in Flint.

Ok, I have to say I had a great time today. Sorry if I didn't get around to everyone but I thank those who were there and hope you enjoyed yourselves. Ron, I guess you had better send a copy of my pic as well, my wife needs a new one for the dart board. I just got home myself, wife's party went great as well. I just made it in time (4:55) so I was lucky there. Although getting older isn't usually acknowledged by the female half she appreciated her party. I look forward to our next pinic and hope I can stay longer.
