Well since you can't see anything besides the dump, enjoy this tidbit from MGO about Buffalo Wild Wings.

Here's another example, I was at BWW (Buffalo Wild Wings) in Ypsilanti a few years ago, and I was wearing a hat backwards and off to the side a little. The manager told me I had to wear my hat straight forward or straight back. When I asked him why, he said because gang members wear their hats the way I was wearing mine. I told him that is rediculous. The way you wear a hat doesn't indicate you're in a gang. I paid my tab immediatly told him I wouldn't be back and left, though I had planned on staying a lot longer.

Which, BTW, is clearly posted at the door...

Really? I wouldn't know. I don't go there anymore. This was over 8 years ago. Such a ridiclous rule!

BW3 Ypsi wasn't THERE 8 years ago!

Yes it was. It was in downtown Ypsi near the strip club (Deja Vu). They just built a new one off of Huron St a few years ago though.

I'm looking at their website, and their dress code says "NO HAT". Come on now, it's just a hat! What if a person had cancer and was undergoing kemo, and was self concious about the way they looked. Are they going to tell them no hat's?
What about when it's cold outside. You can't wear a hat in there? What about wigs? They cover your head too.

Awesome. Let me clarify then...it is clearly posted at the NEW Ypsi location. They do allow hats, but as you said, the visor must be worn either straight to the front, or straight to the back...NOT with the offset gang look.
I wear hats. It doesn't bother me. I understand their concerns/reasoning. I'd venture to say that the vast majority of hat wearers are NOT offended by this sign and they continue to do business with the establishment. In fact, most hat wearers would probably wonder why anyone would want to stand-out and "buck" this policy.
So, bringing it back full circle...if DA doesn't allow open carry...okay...if that bothers you, don't shop there. I'd venture to say that the majority of Michigan Gun Owners are NOT offended by this sign. If I happen to be open carrying and decide to go in there, I'll simply cover my sidearm up and go on in...
