Can you take a snapshot? The table formatting is fine here.

Who are you blocking, what is your screen resolution, and what version of firefox are you using?
Yes

Alright, I can debug, fix, and release a new version. I thought to have already fixed that bug, but there must be another similar table closing tag I missed.

Also note that it doesn't always block. I can see several tag goofs where a user is successfully blocked, but on the same page, 2 posts directly from that same user are also visible.

It is the nature of humans to subjugate their liberties.

And of course, the calls have went unanswered.
Perhaps the calls were answered by the Super Moderator, Yukan Fukov.

I do wish people would stop posting all of this non gun related detritus.
Much of it is gun related.

I wonder, since the General Discussion forum is not truly for general discussion, as it is still supposed to be gun related, what's the point of the general discussion forum?
There is no point. Now go away, and let us enjoy ourselves, unmolested by your would-be shackles.

Moderators simply weren't working. At the time they were removed, they were causing more problems than they were fixing. Primarily because a new moderator was engaging in bad behavior and then deciding to "moderate" the thread after someone responded badly.

It's sort of like a paraphrasing on socialism. Moderation is the perfect system. It had just never worked in the past because the wrong moderators were running everything. Everything would be fine if the right moderators were just put in charge of everything. Then everyone would be happy, healthy, and have everything they required in life.

In this case, someone finally realized the faulty logic in that premise.

Sir,

You may want to take a look at the post in the following link.

I created an ignore feature which works in Firefox. If there are any questions or bugs, feel free to pounce me.
I want to make hot man love to you.

TMI.

I do see that one of the major candidates for the "ignore" feature is now a non-issue...

I feel that this forum is well self moderated on most of the sub forums, especially the state forums.

But in the general discussion forum, well, I find it to be almost a free for all.

I decided to see what it would take to get banned from another forum I frequent, and after calling someone a moron twice, I was banned for three days.

I would link the posts, except that they banned my IP and I can't even read the forum.

Anyway, I feel that this is ridiculous over moderation, but in my experience with the other forum, it is an extremely pleasant forum to read and trolling is nearly non existent.

I believe that one or two moderators for the general discussion forum, and a closer adherence to the rules would benefit the forum and the movement as a whole, while still allowing open and honest debate among members.

Just my honest opinion, and I am not pointing any fingers, merely making a point.
I think you learn a lot about a person by seeing how far he'll allow others to practice matters displeasing to himself.

One of the disadvantages of web forums is that moderation, a.k.a. censorship, is permitted. Much more honest Internet discussion occurs on USENET, but nobody knows how to configure a newsreader, anymore.

This board is so much less effective and honest than it could be. I endure so many warnings and have so many posts deleted that it's clear that gun owners are the source of the liberty-restricting mechanisms that wend their way through social intercourse and government, reemerging later as gun control.
If you took the trouble to follow the basic rules of no cop bashing, no posts that are not directly related to open carry, etc... you wouldn't have those problems. I think in two years I have had two threads deleted, and doing so was justified.

Ban for inappropriate language. Maybe if you got banned you'd spend less time on hereand more time working off those pounds at the gym.

I see the troll knows how to change her IP address. Oh well, just another name on the ignore list....
Just about anyone can use a TOR. It's pretty hard to keep persistent trolls banned; it requires constant babysitting by admin/moderators.
