They definitely saw it, I had no jacket and part of teh conversation was I want to get a holster "like this one" pointing to my hip for my new Sig SP 2022. Service was a bit lacking as they never even said "well we can order it for you since we are out/don't stock the item."

Last time I was in Boerners was about 2 and a half years ago with a friend. I know they saw my big XD but they didn't say anything about it. But like you said, their service certainly wasn't stellar and their selection was nothing to speak about. Haven't been back since.

I went in Boerner's a couple years ago and they never said anything to me about my open carry, odd since I often get kicked out of places where others have no problem. Nevertheless, I still drive out to Tacoma and shop at Mary's.

I have known Bill Boerner for nearly 25 years. About 6 years ago I went into the store OC and was ask WTF with that? The next thing was that if someone called police and the police had an accident while responding, I could be charged with reckless endangerment. My good friend and Attorney, Randy Loun, quickly squared him away. Bill has slowly come around. It used to be that he would not let his employees carry, but kept several handguns in easy access.
Granted, he is overpriced, understocked, and overbearing, But once you get to know him, he is OK. Still wants to "Buy Low, Sell HIGH"

Re: Boerners; give another business your hard earned money. JMHO.

Rode my motorcycle from Bremerton to Kingston, ferried over to Edmonds, on to Everett, and retraced my steps back to Bremerton. A few looks on the highway, several LE passed without incident. A gentleman on the boat back from Edmonds came over and pointed out that my firearm was exposed. I had the familiar 'this is an OC state, oh you have a CPL? Look up OCDO'.

Uneventful=good.

Randy has pretty much disappeared from gun shows, and being in public. He has had several medical issues. I have not seen him for about year now.

I was aware of the stroke, as he was just beginning to represent me in a lawsuit when it happened. I was wondering if there was any new news since then. I hope he's well.

Had a good time open carrying tonight the temperature in Poulsbo this morning was in the mid 40's and because I overheat easily with a jacket on that was good t-shirt weather for me. I had a long full day and my stomach got the better of me before I could go grocery shopping. I walking into the Poulsbo jack in the box around 1:10am for a quick snack, I spent about half an hour in the restaurant eating and getting some work done on my phone. No issues while I was there I was the only customer in the restaurant and the two female employes did not seem to care about my gun. At one point one of them stood behind my back to warm them self's at the fire, I turned around to check where she went (I I always try to face the door and overlook as much as the room as possible) and got a smile as I made eye contact. Next stop wallmart for real food.

Around 1:30-1:40am I walked into the Poulsbo wallmart and spent about 30 minutes shopping and stocking up for the week. As usual I did not make a grocery list because I told myself I could remember everything, I did... eventually. I paced back and forth putting things in my cart as I remembered them but made a lot more trips around the store than was necessary. I did get a few curious looks from a few employees but I am not sure if that was because of my gun or because I appeared to be speed walking around the store. When I went to check out the layout of the aisle forced me to present my strong side to the cashier as I placed my things on the conveyer belt. The cashier got a good long look at my XD every time I looked up to place my next item she was smiling at me and she started a casual how is your night going type conversation. I paid for my things and left, it was a great night to open carry

My sleep schedule has been off lately even for me. If I can get some sleep ahead of time I will be there

Starting another thread might help I am not sure how many people keep up on this one

I have a very hard time justifying the expenditure of cash I don't have. I would like to join you guys but usually the notice is very short and I simply am flat busted broke. I'm so broke I couldn't get lost if it cost a quarter to go around the world.
