got my CPL in the mail yesterday. haven't OC'd since then, although there's still the newness if having a cpl plus the fact the weather has me wearing coats and jackets. OC will probably regularily resume in the spring...

Good for you Eric,
Please do not bump your post count to over 11800 by posting every time you go to a store.

I OC'd from my bedroom to my computer desk... no problems.....

I find it weird how one member here is so concerned about how the government has become too powerful, presumably violating his privacy, yet provides a running register of everywhere he goes every other day on a public internet board....

Well said Eric.
Did you know that over 10000 of those posts were nothing more than self engrandising "I went here, I went there, look at me OC comments"?

Eric, where did you apply for your CPL? If it was KCSO, are they no longer issuing on the spot?

The PO office by the Courthouse.

it was Kitsap Sheriff... I don't know anyone personally who's recieved one on the spot... except from this forum.... and all of them claim to have gotten it at Silverdale office... but I live close to the PO office and didn't want to go into silverdale that day....

KCSO is still the fastest in the state, so far as I know. But the Department of Health is usually slow and the Sheriff's office is still inundated with applications for CPL and pistol transfers. They only have a couple ladies that actually run the background checks. They are good, but there's only so much they can do in a day.

Kitsap Oath Keepers Inaugural Meeting

Open invite to discuss forming an organized county chapter of Oath Keepers.

This Friday, 10/11 at 1800 hours, at Kitsap Rifle and Revolver Club on Seabeck Hwy.

Not familiar with OK? See "10 orders we will not follow" at www.oathkeepers.org
OK is about reminding active military and police of their oath to the Constitution, and helping communities to prepare for unrest.

Respectfully, Pat O'Dell

2013 179.jpgSat the 19th, went to Walmart in Port Orchard. This guy (pictured) comes up to me and my kids looking very angry and says angrily , " Your the kinda guy that gives the rest of us gun owners a bad name". To which I replied "I do it (OC) to protect my family, and your opinion dont mean s**t to me".
