It's this kind of hubris that got us kicked out of Starbucks

And it's still going on . . . they asked not to be involved politically, but we couldn't leave it alone. We had to shove it down their throats and co-opt their image. Great job guys . . .

Nooo, it's Starbucks being the anti-liberty liberals that they are that got "us" kicked out of Starbucks. Make no mistake about that and don't blame a miniscule few for Starbuck's decision that applies to all of their stores.

I keep telling people that about Target and Chipotles. Nobody listens.

Chipotles is owned by McDonalds, which is extremely anti gun in its employee handbooks. They dedicate a complete and punctually correct paragraph to guns and declare your personal vehicle off limits, regardless of state law and threaten you over correcting them on the preemption. I carry anyways. Or do I? Muaaahahahahaha

Regardless of where one comes down on this issue, there is much better coffee out there than Starbucks. I have OCed at Tully's and just OCed at a Dunkin Donuts in Oklahoma over the weekend. I still like the "I love guns and coffee" logo and I still have one on my truck because, well ... I love guns and coffee! Vince's and Chuck's in Renton have had no problem with my OC and their coffee is pretty good too. I don't know about Top Pot though haha.

Really? That's never happened to me and I do it all the time. Even posed outside the police department for photos once.

Like I said, it doesn't bug me that people are willing to OC rifles/shotguns. I personally would never do that, I see it as carrying too much firepower but I would do it for a protest or public support thing. I live in Snohomish and I OC a pistol and the police never bugged me at all so I am curious to sling a rifle once I get one to see if this status quo remains. I think people are taking what I said out of context.

You said

I personally do not care for long gun carriers

Hard to take that out of context.

So which is it? Do you want to OC a long gun or do you not care for us? I keep saying this: You cannot be pro gun part time. It's an all or nothing deal.

Gone... Nutty as squirrel **** around here
Starbucks could easily stop the usage of their symbol by the companies using it, they don't. So they must not find it hubris or even enough to care about. Unlike Harley Davidson, they might consider it good advertizing.

OK so the emblems are using their trademark, but as long as they don't care, why get worked up over it.

Parody is a defense to trademark infringement. Well settled law and the reason they don't fight or object is because they know it would be a lost cause.
