I'm new, so I thought I'd do my intro in here since the VA section seems cluttered. (And I saw bull did it :))

Carlo/23/Great Bridge of Chesapeake

I go out to my friends land for some 100yard+ shooting and visit Camp Allen and A&P for the rainy days. Other than that, I'm studying @ ODU and work on Norfolk Base.

Hi.

I have run into a couple while out pier fishing with my kids. But I have had a couple stop and say they usually do and ask if I was a VCDL member like them. My wife still is timmid about the whole OC thing. Afraid of what folks will say or do. She'll just have to get used to it I guess.

Take a look at this and it will tell you where you can carry.

Yes you can. I'm assuming your in the tidewater area and if so we're having an OC dinner in york county thursday the 27th at 7pm. If you have'nt oc'd before it's a good way to break the ice and be comfortable as we all oc.

Check out the thread for the tidewater march oc dinner.

New to the board.

OCed several times over the past few days at 7-11 and Farm Fresh (for coffee) at the intersection of Kempsville and Volvo.

And, once at Zoots Cleaners on Indian River.

At Farm Fresh, I got a nice little double-take from the manager (only once).

No issues.

OCed:

On Tuesday at Farm Fresh (Kemps/Volvo); grocery shopping with the Boss; all over the store. Other than the undisciplined, unprofessional, and unsupervised high school kids working at the register, no problems.

Today for lunch at Kelly's Tavern (near Kemps/Centerville); good service, bland food; no problems.

OC'd at the 'Kyoto' Japanese steakhouse in Chesapeake (x Greenbriar mall) Saturday evening. Place was jammed full. No probs, and only a couple of brief stares. I was there with my whole crew + mom and dad visiting for Easter wkend.

Usually I like the "tactically superior" spot at the table, but they had me at the end of the table with my strong side to the entryway. Couldn't miss me if you tried! (lol)Thought for sure someone would start screaming the moment they walked thru the door, but thankfully no drama.
