That little volunteer photographer with the PD took pictures of everyone, every vehicle... hell he even took pictures of every decal and sticker on the cars.
Did you notice that every cop was wearing a camera on their shoulder.
Whatever happened to an anonymous turn-in, no questions asked, etc.?

No questions need be asked..........if they already have the information/answers :uhoh:

Don't be such a Negative Nancy - I'm sure the license plate readers, security cameras, body cameras and dashcams in the cruisers were all turned off to protect the privacy of those poor downtrodden upper-middle-class liberals.

As I am sure that the exterior building cams and recording equipment was set on an extended pause.

Yep, I believe that.

So, what kind of guns did folks get?

I think is was previously stated that 4 folks came and discussed the issue with folks willing to buy but none did & they all went to the police.

The guys should have told the "sellers" that a donation was going to be made to planned parenthood who has recently shown approval of killing new BORN infants.

Standing out in the street doesn't make you look very good.

As i said, you should have just had signs "here to drop off your gun, no questions asked? You can hand them here w/o getting out of your car". Let them assume you're with the PD.

The city has now extended their "give-back" program to last for another three months.

People return weapons in disputed police gun give-back program

Bledsoe said the $100 charitable donation offer remains in effect for those who turn in guns in the next three months.

seems like folks in that area just love to give their guns away. and the lawsuit needs more plaintiffs that actually have standing...I hope no one paid the lawyers who filed the original complaint.

Bledsoe said it was a safe way to get guns off the streets.

I drove around to see some of the old neighborhoods/haunts/sights. I was very careful to look for those guns on the streets, as I did not want to ruin my tires or my front end alignment driving over them. I was extra cautious going through spots where blood was flowing on the streets - you know, shopping mall parking spaces and the like. Heck, I even checked the parks!

I never saw the first gun on the street.

Just where are the cops finding guns on the streets?

[/snark]

stay safe.

Once more, but this time with even more feeling and TWO cherrie on top - Please, sir, come and show us how to do things properly. We admit we are naught but rubes and bumpkins that can barely find our own backsides when using both hands, so your enlightenment and expert instruction is sorely needed.

We have mortgaged the ox and a dozen chickens which ought to be sufficient to pay to transport you, house you at the inn, and provide for meals during your stay.

We beseech you, oh wonderously knowledgeable one, to help us in this the time of our travail.

stay safe.
