Having tried it in the privacy of our own living room--how the @#$% do you carry "muzzle down"? They don't hang that way, the bolt closes up (gravity being that pesky nuisance that it is), the muzzle bumps my ankle with each step (okay, I'm short, I admit it), and every step the sling slips just that little bit until the damned thing is horizontal in no time (big no-no there). Their center of gravity (tried with several long arms) is around the triggerguard. My magazines don't come off without a gunsmith to help, either. (Or a cutting torch, but that's just being silly.)
Is this a ploy to ask the impossible (and thereby cut down the number of long arms) or just a narrow focus on ONE type of rifle? (I get the feeling plastic stocks significantly alter the center of gravity, though I can't speak with authority as I don't own one.)
