IF the owner of THAT particular new webpage WANTED to post here he would have been welcome too. He choose not to. His choice. I say let him go if he wants to go.

Just to fill in some blanks,,, and update some others...

eye95 got a 5 day suspension, from 2-2 through 2-7. That is all!
Then HE asked to be Banned! The owners said they would honor his request.
Finally,,, Today,,, 8 days later,,, HE has been banned!!!

Eye had one the size of a battleship, unfortunate for him, this is the internet, and nobody is bound to kiss anyone's arse. But one of his big problems here besides demanding nobody disagree with him was his lack of ability to let go of the past, and truly move on.

But the point is, IT IS THE INTERNET, you cannot be commanded, or ruffed up on the internet unless you decide to be. Before you post, general you, a person must be aware of the fact they are going to own what they post. And that means take criticism, have to deal with differing opinions. If that is going to be too stressful then maybe the internet is not for you, general you.

Welllll I was trying to make the post less offensive for those afflicted with internet paranoia. So yea most times it is general you instead of private you.

I can assure you that I suffer no such affliction as internet paranoia. One of the great things about getting older, and being retired, is that you don't have to concern yourself with what other people say or think. Of course, we're all human, at least most of us, so it is hard to separate what we would like to think and what we actually do think.

Couldn't agree more with this. In my opinion PC is childish. I used to have a sign outside of my module at one place I worked that said, "Warning: Political Correctness is not practiced in this area".

My wife and I with a couple of her friends went out shooting a few days ago. On the way to the range we stopped by the local gun store to get a few more boxes of ammo. While looking around I noticed a woman who had said she just got her CCW. She was looking for her first carry pistol, the dealer behind the counter and her significant other were pressuring her to buy a .380 when she made it known she wanted to hold and try out a few other guns. Yet her boyfriend and the dealer kept telling her she would not likely be able to handle any of these guns and that they really would perfer her to stick with the smaller .380. "
