OK, so what's the deal with eye95?

In other words, he doesn't practice what he preaches, aka, Hypocrisy.

We all have our days, it just seems that his last longer than the rest of us experience.

I wish him well in his endeavour and hopefully he can be a positive impact on society.

When their posts attack the orderly operation of the forum either by direct rule violation, called decisions, or laboriously going off-topic, there are procedures in place to control that - warnings are generally given.

In this case, the level was exceeded to an exceptional degree.

There has never been any personal animosity towards him by any member of the administration.

Now that I95 is gone, could OCDO tell us, please, which way OCDO ought to go from here? I know it depends a good deal on where OCDO wants to get to. But, we don't much care where OCDO heads. And it doesn't matter which way OCDO goes, so long as OCDO gets somewhere, especially if OCDO only walks long enough.

For clarification, never imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise.

So, if we knew then what we know now we would not have went there?

IMO it is clear where OCDO came from and where OCDO is headed. The promotion of lawful open carry of properly holstered handguns. The rest is only sidetracks that the members bring, not the staff.

I have been moderated on occasions, and managed to live with it. Eye made his own bed, I understand that the site is private property, and subject to the rules of the staff. It is their effort, their money, their time. They are not the government, they are a business that promotes liberty, but within their framework.

The owners are both attorneys and executive members of VCDL: John Pierce and Mike Stollenwerk, John acts as the Administrator.

I answer the phone, take messages, push buttons, and serve at their pleasure. I do operate with a proprietary interest foremost in my mind. Called decisions are subject to review and reversal - that hasn't happened yet. Would consider that a failure on my part for not accurately concluding what John and/or Mike would want.

From what other site(s) has the individual been banned?

The other site was ALOC (AL Open Carry). It was couple years ago, it was before my time there. You may recall that eye made some pretty harsh comments here on this site towards the ALOC owner (named Jason I think) in several threads in the OCDO AL sub forum.
