I made it last night and chatted with Superdad- it was a great evening, thanks...Superdad!

The service was great. Out server was attentive and the food was good, and large portioned.

There may be better priced restaurants out there and maybe some locals can help with any ideas.

We'll have to do this again, possibly on a Monday.

We will also have to watch the other dinners/activities, because there were people who went to Richmond that lived in Lynchburg, and they might go the C'ville if it was the only planned outing.

Yes, Let's do this kind of thing again. I wanted to attend but the site wasn't working for me early this week (looks like it was just me too) and I couldn't remember the time for the meeting.

OC'd at Best Buy, Blockbuster Video in Barracks and Barnes and Nobles. Staff and the CPD off-duty officer had no problem with me. Just smiles and hellos. Finally watched the fourth Die Hard movie.

It was I and my girlfriend who came up from Lynchburg to the Richmond dinner. I think we could do a Charlottesville dinner too, but a weekend time might be better than a week night at least for myself.

Site was down for me until this morning. I wasn't able to get out of work till 7:30 last evening, sorry I wasn't able to make it.

Next time I'll be sure to free up my schedule, just happened to be bad timing this week. Glad to hear you guys had a good time.

OC'ed everywhere in Richmond, Charlottesville, the valley and everywhere inbetween over the last week. No problems.

Sorry I missed the dinner guys. You would've definitley had three there but I had to go to my base for a week. Gotta head back down this weekend and a wedding out of town the weekend after but if anyone wants to do another dinner any other time let me know. I'll be there.

Got kicked out at Wild Wing Cafe on Sunday. One manager (Nick) expressly told me I was free to OC. Another, Josh, clearly has a problem with OC. He told the waitstaff to ignore me, but was not man enough to simplydiscussit with me.When I asked him to send a waitress to help me, he told me that no one will help me as long as I have a gun.

Then he called me a liar about Nick's (the main manager) prior approval. I had OC'ed there 15 times before, as I am a regular there. He then kicked me out before I could speak with Nick.

I would suggest an OC dinner there. They have the best wings in town, and no signage banning guns at all.

What say you all? Back a brother up?

I have OC'd there a few times and never had a problem other than a few college kids giving me . However, I think the managers Nick and Josh need to get on the same page before we do an OC dinner there. If no OC is their new policy then I will find my wings elsewhere. Just my .02 cents.

I don't know how we would either know when they are on the same page, nor facilitate that.

I think showing up is perhaps the only way, short of e-mailing the ownership (Chad).

Any interest?

As to Fukrudders... I read on this site how they posted no funs after being robbed. I called and was told that the signage was removed a week ago. That is 2 weeks ago now.

Either way, I would show up if we split the cost of driving. Their burgers rule!

Tuesdays are my late nights at work. Don't get off til 7.

Good note though... Carried at Walmart, Little John's, all around the corner while walking back to my vehicle, had a great convo w/ a worker at Christian's Pizza, Smoothie King, Ben and Jerry's, Food Lion on 5th ext., pretty much everywhere... no trouble at all. Even in Danville this past weekends no problems going into a restaurant and downtown at the fireworks display. Actually had two different LEOs hold the doors for me and didn't say a word. Was actually able to inform a good friend about some valuable information about OC in the middle of their Wally World which he passed on to his buds about this site.

As far as Wild Wings, still havent been but willing to give it a shot.

I'll drive and won't worry about splitting the cost. We just have to figure out where to meet up.

Any room for one more in the carpool? I'll be heading down to the OC dinner next Tuesday as well. I can help with gas and meet anywhere you like.

Sure is. Lets meet up at the Target parking lot, between the Target and the TGIFridays. I'll be driving the red Mazda 3 and will park in the wide open as nobody ever parks over there. Meet you all about 5 PM which should get us there in plenty of time. Still room for one/two more if anybody else is interested.

OC'd at Wild Wing's last night and there was no doubt I was OC'ing as I had the Sig in a vertical shoulder holster. Nary a comment but a few . Didn't get a chance to talk to any of the managers but did have a good OC conversation with two of the staff.
