Will only respond to the "second" point -

I have not spoken or written his name since the election and will not. Simply leaving a letter out of his name is IMO, not disrespectful.
Please. You did not just "simply leav{e} a letter out of his name" and you know it. We can all read your post, you know.

Either you are lying or don't know how to spell the last name of the President of the United States. Which is it?

"Obama" minus the "b" does not equal "O_mama."

If I were caused to meet him face to face, I would refer to him as Mr. President.
So you wouldn't childishly call the man "O_mama" to his face? Yet you're perfectly fine doing it at a site you moderate? Interesting.

Let me ask you this: would you find it disrespectful if people started referring to you as "Grapesnot?" After all, they would simply be doing what you did - replacing one letter with another, right? I have a feeling that would be determined to be a rules violation and the "offending" posts would be summarily edited or outright deleted.

"Respect the uniform, if not the man". He is the CIC whether you voted for him or not.

Much to do about nothing. Opinions are like ********, everybody has at least one of each - myself included. Unfortunate that the object/topic has become personal political persuasion - which is definitely OT. That bent should definitely NOT be pursued further.
Criticism comes with the territory - I accept that.

For the sake of ending this extremely important and fact filled exchange, I shall cease public use of the unmentionable characterization as previously represented. Perhaps that is what is meant by "self-moderation."

Enjoy your day.

So you won't directly address the fact that you - incorrectly - claimed to have just removed a letter from his name when it was clear that you had done more than that? I guess we have the answer to the question I posed above, don't we?

Oh, and thinly-veiled threats of using your moderation powers to stifle discussion seems a little over the line, don't you think?

no, I really don't, trust me on this.

FWIW, the spellcheck doesn't recognize obama either

Probably because if the spellcheck recognized "obama," and not just that but as "(O)bama," then there would be some person on here pontificating about some vast conspiracy that has now infiltrated OC.org.

yes, generally, people need to be controlled which is why we have laws (*not all laws are 'necessary'), and why we have MSNBC, and FOX News for the average American to consume, and be directed, and told what to think.

Define the the TV News outlets comsumed by above average , and below Average American's.

So let me get this straight, Obama is to blame for the bad economy, not Bush, even though the economy was collapsing while Bush was in office; Bush gets credit for Bin Laden being taken out, even though Bush is not in office, not Obama?

These two Bin Laden threads are freaking hilarious. Righties are an odd breed of purported 'thinker'. I would recommend some of you properly ventilate the room where you clean your firearms.

Your line of - so-called 'reasoning' - is, hmm, cute.

I almost forgot to ask - are you stating that the military, and intelligence community are not under the control of the President of the United States, and they are two rogue Government entities that 'they' directly refused to follow the policies of the President, and acted on their own, without any direction from the President?

You know, I wonder just how seriously I ought to take anything said by anyone who cites Adolf Hitler in his or her tagline.
Either you are saying that Hitler was right, OR you are equating the Second Amendment and its true purpose with Adolf Hitler.

Either way, you are hereby called out, TROLL.

You know, I wonder h

My signature is obviously corrolating the statements of Hitler, and a 'tea party' person. If you are incapable of the irony of both statements together, well, there isn't anything that could be said.

The 'tea party' appears to share the same philosophy as Hitler with regard to an overreaching government. I will allow the correlation to speak for itself.

As per your M.O., you see what you want to see.

I would really like to know what that last line stated.

There is no need for me to do that because I am not referring to 'above', nor 'below' average Americans. I get the sense when you use the words 'above', and 'below', you are referring to intelligence?

I have offerred you two of the top media outlets watched by tens of millions of Americans each day.

I'm suprised that this topic hasn't attracted some "deather" theorists. Maybe they are still gathering their "facts".
