How can a person on the internet be a "ruffian"? It is not like posters are cornered. As far as the egos we all have them, some are larger than others. Eye had one the size of a battleship, unfortunate for him, this is the internet, and nobody is bound to kiss anyone's arse. But one of his big problems here besides demanding nobody disagree with him was his lack of ability to let go of the past, and truly move on.
Would you have preferred keyboard ruffian or perhaps PC commando? Matters not to me. There are those on this site who, for whatever reason, seem to either believe they are above the rest of us or have some axe to grind (take your pick on that one). I think most of us know who they are and I also know they, and some others, have cost this site some quality people.
Yeah, exactly SoutherBoy
It kinda reminds me of the time when "Someone" was continually
OBSESSING :banghead: about when a woman left a Gun Shop/Range without purchasing a Firearm for protection,,, like
"Give it Up Already" after the first few Negative "KNOW IT ALL" remarks and just ***MOVE ON***
You know Who you are,
"Why do gun owners do this to new shooters.

My wife and I with a couple of her friends went out shooting a few days ago. On the way to the range we stopped by the local gun store to get a few more boxes of ammo. While looking around I noticed a woman who had said she just got her CCW. She was looking for her first carry pistol, the dealer behind the counter and her significant other were pressuring her to buy a .380 when she made it known she wanted to hold and try out a few other guns. Yet her boyfriend and the dealer kept telling her she would not likely be able to handle any of these guns and that they really would perfer her to stick with the smaller .380. "

"Why is it people cannot resist sticking their nose into others business."
"Maybe your wife should have offered to pay for any gun she wanted?"
"At the end of the day she went home unarmed. Bravo!"
"The problem with the OP is the girl went home unarmed."
"I'm sure she will take comfort in that when she is unarmed when needed..."
"Want respect, act in a fashion that garners respect!"
Now
"That's" Good advice
