What's insulting about a group that believes in the Constitution flying the Gadsden flag?
Nothing at all. On the 19th, I hope to fly my Gadsden because I believe in the Constitution. That isn't what urks me.
It's the way it has been designated it as their "political symbol" that bothers me.

Let me make sure I understand you correctly. They are attempting to take away your rights and your are worried about insulting them, did I get that right.
BTW the Gadsden flag flies 24 7, illuminated BTW, in my drive way along with an American flag and a USMC flag for my son and ancestors.
If anyone does not like it then come take it down, I'll wait right here for them to show up.
No no no. I could give a damn about insulting the government. What I meant was that I think it is a bit insulting to for the modern Tea Party Movement to use the Gadsden as their political symbol, if that makes sense? I'm not very good with words. I'm not sure if its official or not (their use of the Gadsden), but seems to be the general consensus.
That being said, I flew my Gadsden and my American flag outside my condo for awhile, until the Homeowners Association decided it was against the rules. It was the fact that the two flags got in the way of things, so I took them down out of respect for the other people who live in my complex. If I lived in a house without fairly small outdoor walkways, I would still be flying them, and telling my HOA to :cuss: off.
So I keep my American flag hung in my bedroom, and my Gadsden on my piano, where I sit and play for several hours a day. It invigorates me. Because I spend so much time looking right at it, it has kind of burnt that message even deeper into my personality.
Dont tread on me.
