Dang, she was shot twice in the hand. I wonder if she was struggling with the shooter trying to get the gun pointed away from her. I have two daughters so I have no mercy on someone that would hurt them.

When are the next elections down-under? This insanity has to be stopped. I can't imagine that anti-gun candidates are going to win the publics vote after all that keeps happening.

Mate, the majority of the sheeple have been brainwashed into believeing things would be a lot worse if not for the John Howard Gun Ban buyback! The 'Greens' a calling for a total ban on all handguns. Thats legal hand guns. They seem to think criminals will hand theirs in. So far after three amnesties since the ban buyback, not one criminal has handed in one solitary firearm?

Our next election wont be for another three years. Our prim Minister, Julie Gillard, who publicly stated before the last election, "There will be no Carbon Tax under a government I lead," is this very morning ramming through the Carbon Tax she our treasurer said we would not have under the government she now leads, with the support of the Anti Everything except free drugs and needles, 'Greens.' What hope is there for the few when the majority of the sheeple only care for, football, meat pies, beer, more beer, beer, even more beer, barbeques, and gambling!

This makes me so angry when they strip away human rights under the color of law! After all if the anti groups really believed arguments like "think of the children" they would encourage every adult to carry! At least in our country we have some hope to hang onto with potential prosecution of our Attourney General for running guns and blaming it on law abiding gun shops. Then there is his boss that is most likely as guilty if it will ever be proven.

Most people here are hoping for an orderly civil change of the guard through elections to start turning the country around but if that hope was taken away I don't know how far from civil war we are. Your country has slid alot farther down the slippery slope such that an insurrection may not be an option anymore because the populace has been disarmed. I would hope your military may at some point wake up and say "enough" but there is probably little chance of that.

All in all put your faith in Christ and hope to kiss this world goodbye (good riddance)! God bless!

This is all we have regarding the police oath?

POLICE ACT 1990 - SECT 13
Oath to be taken by persons exercising police functions
13 Oath to be taken by persons exercising police functions

(1) Before a person exercises any of the functions of a police officer, the person must take the oath or make the affirmation of office as a police officer in accordance with the regulations.
(2) A police officer is not required to take a further oath or make a further affirmation after a change in the officer’s position in the NSW Police Force, so long as the officer remains in the NSW Police Force.

New sec.38 - Oath

Compare the form of the oath with that required to be taken by members of the police force (Police Regulation Act, s.9). The form of oath is simpler and takes into account that the special constables duties may be limited by rules made under the new section 77. The oath may be administered by a member of the police force of or above the rank of inspector as well as by a justice.

New sec.50 - Oath

The simple oath provided for by this section does not include an oath of allegiance to the Queen. Such an oath may be inappropriate for a member of a foreign police force.

It may not be convenient for a visiting special constable to have the oath administered to him by a justice for New South Wales or by a member of the police force of New South Wales of or above the rank of inspector. The section therefore provides that it may be administered by a member (who is of or above the rank of inspector) of the police force of which the special constable is a member. This would be convenient, for example, for the administration of the oath to a member of the police force of Queensland who is appointed by the Commissioner a visiting special constable for New South Wales for the purpose of "border" police work (see para.18 of the report).

We are still a monarchy and this is an interesting read;

"I honour my God

I serve my Queen

I salute my Flag".

It has been many a year since children stood in their school assemblies throughout Australia to recite these meaningful words. Sadly we have many who are white anting this oath at every available opportunity.

"Oaths of Allegiance are still a constitutional requirement for politicians - Federal and State, those serving in the Defence Forces and indeed most persons in positions of power and influence to swear allegiance, for the taking of an Oath is in reality a public declaration formally binding the swearer to a fealty which goes far beyond the normal loyalty owed by a citizen to his or her country for the politician is accepting a sacred trust to honourably govern in the best interests of the People, the soldier to vigorously defend the Nation, the Judge to faithfully administer the Law, and so on."

So, that's all about the oaths. What's the oath?

"Sean Maraffko, 42, has pleaded guilty to the stabbing murder of Joanne Kate Wicking, 29, who had taken him in after his release from jail."

Oops! Don't take in strangers... Probably some law on the books prohibiting landlords from discrimination on the basis of a violent criminal background...

It seems its some kind of secret. I'm still trying to find out? All I get is snippets such as these.
The Oath of Office.
Police are never truly ‘off duty’ because of the effect the “oath of office” has on police and the requirement for police to act in certain circumstances, whether on or off duty, when other members of society have no requirement to act.
Police officers take an oath of office, which gives them enormous powers, and at the same time places great responsibilities on them. Police are different from other workers in a number of respects, but particularly in relation to the nature of their professional duties.

I found this interesting. Police were issued with firearms in 1894 to place them on equal footing with criminals.

1894 - The Bridge Street Affray: a savage attack by three criminals on city police. Henceforth all police are permanently issued with firearms to place them on equal footing with criminals.

Alcohol fuelled brawl in Scarborough however no arrests were made.

No arrests were made? and we wonder why these things continue to happen. Cheers, Haz.

DOZENS of people were involved in yet another alcohol fuelled brawl in Scarborough this afternoon as the temperature soared above 35C.

Police say a number of men in opposing groups became involved in a fight near Scarborough Beach about 2pm.

At least half a dozen police cars were called to the scene to quell the violence which spilled over to a nearby service station and a Coles Supermarket.

It’s understood however no arrests were made and no injuries were reported as the mercury eclipsed 35C for the first time since April.

GREAT-grandfather fights off two thieves who were ransacking his gun cabinet.

Here is a great grandfather having to use a baseball bat to fight off 2 home invading thieves breaking into his gun safe. They attack him with the sledgehammer. What a pity his firearms were by law, locked away?

"I confronted them because this is my house, and I've got a right to protect my property.

"Had I had a pistol in my hand, I would have used that as well.

"They've got no right to come in here, I would have used anything to stop them, I've got every right to do that.''
.

"He remains in a serious condition in hospital after life-saving surgery."

This world down under has turned upside down. Cheers, Haz.

A GREAT-grandfather has told how he used a baseball bat to fight off two thieves who were ransacking his gun cabinet and stole a cache of weapons.

The 70-year-old grandfather-of-10, who has one great-grandchild, told Perthnow he swung his bat at both young men who were smashing into his gun cabinet and attempting to steal his utility at his Alexander Heights home early today.

The fit and feisty grandad, who wanted to be known only as John, said he was struck in the body with the sledgehammer the robbers were using to break into his gun cabinet..

He described how he was awoken just before 5am to find his prized Ford XR6 ute on the driveway with its doors wide open and a man smashing his gun cabinet open with a sledgehammer.

It’s alleged the pair, along with two others, forced their way into the Grand Promenade home owned by the victim's daughter Wendy Walker and her husband John Bradford.

This is certainly on the severe end (of sexual attacks).

"Police warned home owners to lock doors and windows and check security, especially while the man remains at large and capable of reoffending."

What? Lock doors and windows and check security, but dont "BUY A GUN." This raping home invader BROKE INTO her home. He wasnt invited? She never left the doors or windows unlocked? What a joke. Police telling unarmed citizens to lock their doors and windows, as if that saves lives. Before the gun ban one could leave doors and windows OPEN at night without fear. Haz.

This man could have saved this boys life and prevented himself being stabbed with the murder weapon, a bayonet had he been armed. The Gun Ban is a total failure done under. Cheers, Haz.
*******************************************************

A TEENAGER sentenced to life in prison this week for the "thrill kill" of another boy in Gympie was "on a mission" that day, maintains one of his victims.

iBicycle shop owner David Phillips was walking to the bank the morning of November 27, 2009 when two boys ran past him. The first was a 15-year-old, fleeing for his life. On his heels was a 16-year-old wielding a bayonet.

"They ran into the underground car park ... so I sped up," he said. "When I got across the street and inside (the car park) I could just hear these really horrid sounds.

"I said 'stop it, leave him alone', and then he just ran towards me and said 'do you want some, too?' Then he was right on me."

The father of two eventually overpowered the offender, but was also stabbed.
