Hey, Bob!!!

You can come back to VA now.

It will seem a lot like Reno!

Annandale, Springfield, and Falls Church had a little shake at about 1:30 pm.

WTOP radio's website is reporting (for what that is worth) magnitude 2-3.0.

WOW! I just found it on Google Earth....2.0 and 6 km deep. Here's the USGS page on that temblor. I fyou felt it, you can report what you felt on this page and it will help them determine the area of effect.

Presently, my 'If SHTF Bag' only consists of a full set of clothes, 5 bottles of water, a few different flint-type firestarters, gun cleaning kit, flashlight, and 500 rounds of JHP. The rest of my stuff (rope, carabiners, jackets, blanket, 500 FMJ rounds, etc) is in my truck. Call me paranoid but Id call that a relatively good disaster kit, all things considered ;)

Also, all in all, I have to say that things are calming down (Im knocking on wood while im typing this, 1 handed, just in case...), which is a good thing. Unless of course this is the 'calm before the storm' as they say. Im out of Northwest Reno by May 31, so maybe things wont fall over until then! :p

So far nothing horrible. Im across Peavine from NW Reno now at my parents ranch, and I felt all of them, though not many were too big. My friends in NW reno said it was a good shake.

Now at least we know that BobCav didnt bring the earthquakes with him :p
