I stated no opinion on whether children should be allowed at THIS EVENT OR NOT, only that they were requested not to be at this EVENT and that there are OTHER EVENTS that ARE FAMILY ORIENTED.

IMO, I could care less whether children are there or not. See! That is an opinion!

This was supposed to be a fun thing to get to gather, shoot and mingle.

And all you guys can do is turn it into a great big BIT(H FEST like a bunch of immature little brats.

No wonder many people look down on open carriers.

I think the whole point of this debate is getting lost. If you can be responsible then attend, if not then don't. I think that's what the OP was getting at. If you are a responsible parent then bring the kids, if not then don't. Pretty simple aye? I think we should be very careful in passing judgement on anyone other than ourselves. This being said, there are some here that have a poor record with impulse control and acting in a responsible manner. They are also responsible for the vast majority of locked threads here and I sense that this thread will soon be one of them.

On topic - I plan to attend (health permitting) and act in a responsible, lawful and safe manner ;)

The sign of a true anti 2A troll. Do anything possible to destroy the 2A from within the pro 2A camp. By coming into a thread and totally disregarding and disrespecting others, just to try and ruin an outing that is pro-2A, proves just how anti 2A and how much of a troll you are. And at this point it makes me sick that an OCDO forum member is backing this troll. I have tried to not speak out against this, but just ignore it, hoping it would eventually just die, but the troll lives on in this thread. I will voluntarily delete this post myself once this stops, sadly if it doesn't I will just ask John and Mike to delete this thread entirely, and let the troll win with the help of some "2A supporters".
