One of thousands of pics of Tea Partiers blocking streets and sidewalks. OK for me but not for thee?
Selective perception and selective exposure.

I think not. Tea Parties do not engage in acts of civil disobedience, they obtain permits for the events and have even paid for the police presence. They also do not crap in public, nor do they engage in the rape and murder which has been reported in the OWS camps. They also do not smash windows in places of business, burn cars and paint swastikas on Jewish synagogues.

While I support the rights of the OWS to assemble peacefully and speak their mind, I condemn their actions when they cross the line. In addition to the above offenses, we can now add provoking the police in order to gain sympathy. That does not excuse the police who took the bait if they acted in violation of the law, but to paint this crowd as some sort heroic freedom loving champions of the Republic is idiotic at best.

Most of the OWS protests I have seen are either squatting, camping or IILA. However, I have seen a couple that do not. I am just providing a cite that clarifies what is illegal and what is not.

So are you admitting that intentionally blocking access to a public building is, in fact, illegal? ;)

Seriously?

After weeks of well documented assaults and unjustified uses of force against Occupy, by various police departments around the country, you're going to claim that Occupy is guilty of "agree with us or we beat you... and sic dogs on you (allegedly)"?

Success!

Have you actually looked at anything linked in this thread?????
It is well documented that the OWS protesters are getting exactly what they deserve, they are breaking the law and provoking the police. rather than so called "assaults" and "unjustified use of force" it is just the opposite. the police have gone out of their way to avoid those very things and have used minimal force when they were forced to by the OWS protesters.

Hell i am suprised the police have not justifiably broken out the sound, heat, and water riot control gear to deal with these brown shirts

You're right. These violently resisting young women forced NYPD Lt. Anthony Bologna to use pepper spray as a last line of defense.

And this violent terrorist had the nerve to actually turn around and walk away as ordered (known to be a favorite ploy of al Qaeda).

This first video is really my favorite; even the cops looked around with a "WTF???"; possibly because Bologna sprayed them too and then just walked away.

You're right, though. Break out the water hoses and batons, to stop these people from violently forcing police to use pepper spray against them. :uhoh:

... so you're attempting to justify your position that ALL the protesters are innocent law-abiding angels and ALL the cops are jackbooted thugs with two lil ol' videos of the same cop with behavior issues vs ALL the videos & links posted by Schlepnier, et al, that must be over a dozen by now?

straw man argument, try harder, your failure is epic.

The potesters themselve admit they are trying to provoke the police and are engaging in unlawful acts of civil disobedience.

Even my 5 yo knows: two wrongs don't make a right.

Protesters: WRONG

Police: WRONG

Protesters + police = a barrel of entertainment!

Thanks for taking the time to point out the glaring differences in the Tea Party protests to the Occupy protests.
