Had a great OC experience today - Breakfast at Shari's, Sullivan Road. Absolutely no problems whatsoever. Only thing I noticed was when I was paying at the register, the folks waiting to be seated stood back a bit farther than usual! :D

Wally World right up the street - finally had 9mm ammo in stock - bought it with my carry visible and salesman didn't bat an eye.

Good Sunday in my opinion!

I've heard nothing but bad things about Shari's and OC.

I've talked to two different people who had been kicked out of a Shari's restaurant for OC one was CC and his jacket moved while he was walking exposing the gun on his hip after he ordered and was one his way to "the head" and the other simply took his jacket off before sitting down. They were told to leave. Two different people two different locations and dates.

Maybe they have changed?

No issue with Shari's, though now I have an issue with Wal-mart, as they have been ordered to not restock ammo by corporate.

I was in wal Mart today. They don't order ammo. They are reapplied from the warehouse and are receiving shipments regularly. I saw a guy today by about 30 boxes. They are basically selling everything they can get their hands on.

ck, I just returned from the Port Orchard Wal Mart and was told the same thing by the dept mgr. They are instructed to not restock the ammo nor are they to special order ammo.

I pull freight for Walmart and have spoken to several in management....the shortages you see on the shelves there are caused not by any WM policy but by national availability due to the recent panic rush. Guns and Ammo for WM are not procured through the usual process at the Distribution Centers but by a centralized office that handles nationwide orders. So don't panic. Won't say what time of day and by what means guns and ammo arrive at your local store, but if you have a 24 hr supercenter, between 3-6 AM is the shelf restocking time for most locations. Get up early!

ADDENDUM: Got up at 2AM and drove to Walmart - ammo cabinet WELL stocked with everything 'cept 9mm FMJ which is chronically sub-inventory even in the best of times. Good prices on 5.56 (.223) and sufficient quantities of all rifle calibers - also plenty of .38, .45 ACP. 10mm .357... sports counter guy says ammo is arriving as usual - hasn't heard about any "ban" from management or Bentonville....

Thanks for clearing that up. I heard from somewhere - maybe here on this forum that Wal-Mart was going to stop stocking ammunition.
