Yep...I got it! I'am looking forward to it very much. It will be great to meet everyone. Maybe we can set up a monthly "get together". I had a couple of guys at work who would've liked to join us...but they work nights as well...and couldn't make it.
Man...working straight nights sucks!! hahaha

Thats a good idea too. I could make a Saturday morning breakfast meeting...say around 8-9ish. This get together....theday and time was done as a courtesy for me..since tues & wednesdays are my days off. But, I can make Saturday mornings work.

I would be in on that also. Sometimes have to work one Sat a month but hopefully it won't hit on the Sat.

Yep. Absolutely wonderfull to meet all the others I hadn't before, and nice to see every body again from the last time.
Had about 11 people total show up.
Aaron glad to see you oc'ing for the first time. Keep it up, it gets less nerve racking everytime.

Just wanted you guy's to know I had a great time tuesday evening. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and l look forward to doing it again soon! After I got home...I had an "interesting" and lets say "spirited" discussion with my wife and daughter about OCing.
The wife is supportive, yet not overly so. The daughter says she "gets it" and has "nothing against guns"...yet doesn't understand why someone would want to OC (so she's obviously conflicted and doesn't quite get it hahaha).
She harbors most all of the traditional sentiments..ie; "it's just a macho thing, do you really think you're going to be assaulted at the IHOP, it may beuncomfortable to those other customers who are sitting close by and notice".. etc...etc.
So I had a very enjoyable time explaining to her our rationale and thoughts concerning those issues and other popular misconceptions. In the end I just told her "this life is all about choices..and I want to be able to have the choice to exercise my right as an American citizen to OC, preferrably without having all the bias and predjudice directed my way".
All in all.....a great night!!!

Really enjoyed it myself. Looking forward to that again maybe in a different place next time. Little bit on edge about OC'g in public, however like Big Boy says its gets easier each time. Ready to try it anyway..lol

Had a good time at the meet and greet last night. Glad to have met you all, now I can put some faces to names that I see on the net. We had quite a few good impromptu discussions like gun carry and police encounters at least at our end of the tables. I was to far away from the other end to here much. May be next time well will have a few more come by.
