Carried my G17 into Sparks PD, the same Glock they stole from me and held hostage for 709 days. Lots of people waiting in line behind me. Non-sworn admin person said they don't handle perjury reports. I called BS on that (Sparks PD has jurisdiction over felonies committed in Sparks) and she said a supervisor would be out. I said it better not be Dyer. No supervisor came out. Finally got a report form and decided it would be better to make a detailed report at home.
Inquired about my camera theft report, found it the case was referred to Reno PD and closed. They will re-open it when I give them some video.
While I was waiting for a supervisor, a young adult kid came running in, out of breath, politely asked if I was waiting in line, then dealt with the admin person at the window. He later came out the elevator with a brown bag and it was clear he was retrieving his property. When I left, I saw him at the bus stop and asked if he just got out of jail. Yes. Need a ride? Yes. He said he saw my "concealed" gun and thought I was a cop. I said it's not concealed, I'm sure as hell no cop, and I know how it feels to get out of jail with only the clothes on your back and no ride home. I gave him a ride across town, warned him about the corrupt police in this town, gave him $20, and asked him to stay out of trouble.
