Missing part of the constitution

Ok we have a constitution that has bill of rights ( of which is suppose to keep govt in check) and some most important parts is freedom of speach and right to arms. speach is important so we communicate incase we have to take up arms to defend the constitution. Now many of our rights have been under attack, amended all to hell, and just short of disappeared. ie... license to carry arms, denial to posses arms...not to be infringed VIOLATED....another example.....lets say you want to relax and smoke a joint.( just to be clear i'm not advocating here)as long as you don't violate someone elses rights then by the constitution your good ..... the right to persuit of happiness VIOLATED....some more... patriot act with its phone tapping, manditroy income return filing ( which is an overall review of your private papers for that year) all the excess taxes on your property every year....right to the privacy of your home, possesions.your person, and papers VIOLATED ....and now with the law enforcment officer securtiy act ..aka...LEOSA.. there just went another part of the constitution out the window.....jursidiction, VIOLATED. these are just some and I'm sure that you know of some more example. The missing part of the constitution ( or at least I haven't noticed it ) is what time / event / or violation is suppose to cause the people to take up arms in revolt for the defense of the constitution from molestation of our govt. after all isn't that what the 2nd amendment was actually put in there for? Does anyone have any idea and just what do you think the breaking point is or should be.

Breaking point ? Hypothetically speaking - we just past one BP on November 2, 2010.

We survived that encounter. 1861 would be one that unfortuantely wasn't settled at the ballot box. That disaster -the Civil War- should never have happened. WE THE PEOPLE have more oversight, and leverage now then we have ever had in our nation's history.

One of my favorite quotes - Edmund Burke I think (?)- " Extremism ALWAYS brings about its own destruction". We are seeing that play out before our eyes with the Obama/Pelosi/Reed Neo-Marxism over-betting their "hand", and trampling the Constitution every which way . Their antics have awakened the PEOPLE. Now we just have to remain awake.

The people are already slumbering. Have you heard anything about a TEA Party gathering for April 15th? Nope!!!! A TEA Party gathering anywhere at all? Nope!!! There is a spattering mention of them occasionally. Mainly, the Tea Party is back in the box and the Marxists, communists, progressives, and socialists will be back in force before long. Everyone (almost) seems to be getting complacent again.Everyone's attention is on their dire circumstances caused by a dieing economy and don't realize that without the diligence of the people to keep the politicians in check, their plight will not get much, if any, better. We will fall....hard.

Look at the federal budget, it is not going well to cut only $61 billion out, it must be cut more. Yet some of the folks backed by the TEA Party voted not to cut an additional $22 billion. They said it goes too far, too extreme. Extreme is a $1.63 trillion deficit. How can $61 billion or even $83 billion cut be too far, too extreme? It's the proverbial drop in the proverbial bucket. While they are doing a better job than the libtards, it's just not enough. This Republic will fall, and fall hard it will.

WOW!!!! What a dent in the deficit we made. And the libtards are going to get some of that $61 billion back and you know it.

As I've said, the Republic is lost, the Constitution is dead.

thanks for comments , as for the tea party goes .... they are not the same as the ones in history ...what happened when they were fed up...revolution but todays tp they have a ralley, even right down the street from the ones that they are fed up with ...and what happened ...ralleys over time to go home. i think your right the constitution is almost dead but not totally as long as there is folks like me and others on this site and if we can get constutional carry across the board then to me that says there is still a dhance to regain. as far as economy goes ...well all is lost.but here is an interesting vid to watch if you want ...search secrets of oz video

Oh, do you really want to equate the trouble we have now to those prior to any previous uprising in history? I think not. Overall, we have very little to cry about. If I really cared about my fellow man, I'd swap to sackcloth and donate my unneeded earnings to help those who really have problems... The people who aren't heard because they cant afford Internet, or food. And that is not the government's fault, it is yours and mine.

We need to keep the pressure up on our representatives, making them understand that they'll be voted out every time they try to take our rights, or refuse to restore them. We lost them slowly, we will regain them slowly. Don't be impatient. Things are getting better. Keep voting, keep talking to your reps. We have been asleep at the wheel for decades, but have awakened with the help of the Internet.

And demand repeal of the Patriot Act, if for no reason than symbolism. And when you complain about liberals taking your rights, remember from who the Patriot Act originated.
