cr@p. you guys beat me to it...
:(

In all fairness I have never shot a pocket .380, but why carry a mousegun with less than effective ammo, that may jam, when I can carry a never fails .357 wheelgun?

Because not everyone has the ability to carry a larger frame due to their daily activity, the clothes they have to wear, their chosen profession, the physical ability to actually haul a heavier frame around all day, or the way they have to carry the piece.

Some people are better with micro pistols, some are better with mid-sized wheel guns, and Yote has his 1911.

If I were to buy firearm I would look for one that matches my eyes.:(

Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk,
I'm a woman's man: no time to talk.
Music loud and women warm, I've been kicked around
since I was born.
And now it's all right. It's OK.
And you may look the other way.
We can try to understand
the New York Time's effect on man.

Wadya mean no hollow points ??? Those things are like American Express. I dont go nowhere with out'em.

Handy,
That shade of pink dont match your camera bag....Should add a few "Hello Kitty" emblems to offset the shading.

One might want to spend a little time considering what their normal attire will require, how they intend to carry, and potential holsters before picking a firearm. We have a plethora of different guns to choose from in all shapes and sizes and once you narrow down what kind of attire and holster you will probably be in better shape than someone who must fit their clothes to the firearm they bought. Of course talking about belts and holsters is not as much fun so carry on.

We'll see how things go this next year. It may determine how I carry on the job.

i'm always concernd with; does this gun go with my shoes?

Black goes with everything!

Springfield1911's .45 or Springfield Armory XD45? :p

Soon you can carry a replica of the original Liberator pistol in .45 acp. Unfortunately the manufacturing cost is a bit higher than in the 40's. Instead of a pistol for under 50 cents the new replica is about $599.00.

I've shot a couple Glocks, but for some reason they don't do much for me. (But of course, if I was a millionaire I'd have a dozen of them!) What I'd really like someday is a full size H&K USP .45 - fit's my hand like squeezed clay, and I just love that ambidextrous mag release.

Funny you should mention the HK USP...my current .45 and carry gun is a HK USP Tactical .45 in a Blade-Tech holster. I love HKs even more than SIGs, if that's possible.

Oak, I fired about 20 rounds through a .357 SIG subcompact glock a few years back while in Vegas. I remember it wasn't unpleasant, similar recoil to the 1911 .45s I had at the time, but much quicker and sharper than the "slow push" of a .45's recoil.

Merry Christmas all!

it's not the gun size that matters it's the clothing

Sometimes I feel like I walk in when the conversation is coming to an end.

This video is fairly accurate, UNTIL he pulls out the shotgun. He must have walked with a limp to hide that everyday. NO chest bumps, hip chucks or locker slams for this guys.

Back in H.S. (grad-88) I carried nun-chucks in my leather jacket everyday. My shirt was always tucked in. My protection was in my fisst and feet. What was in my jacket was only the ultimate last resort, becasue I knew if I pulled them out, prosecution follows.
