I have a Micro Eagle .380 ACP. Good gun. No problems - but the shorter sight picture does require practice and a lot of shooting at one time with a small gun becomes literally a pain. I chosed the ME over the the LCP because it "felt" better in my hand. The LCP felt flimsy. If I was to buy a ME now my concern would if it was going to be an "orphan" with Kahr buying Magnum Research.

I like the 327 Federal Mag's ballistics and the no feeding issues of a revolver. I have a 3" S&W 632 It also comes in a hammerless 2 1/4" version. To me the extra 3/4" on the sight picture is worth it & doesn't add significantly to the carry size....And then there are the compact .45's .... a known stopper...have read most nothing but good about the Kimber Ultra Carry II...my S&W M&P 45C is a bit chunky...but thousands of rounds of everything - Wolf, Blazer, White Box, UMC, Ranger T, Double Tap has worked in it.

Now for a some gun porn - in WAVE's eyes - to me its art :) (I like guns)

Interesting. I'll have to check this one out.

I checked out a bunch of handguns today. The Sig P238 would be my final choice... If I didn't live close to so much water. It would probably just fall overboard anyway.

Wow...we sure got fashion conscious bunch here.
Gotta have a new sidearm to match the shoes du jour.

I ll stick with my trusty full size 1911.
I know that baby inside and out and can send them where they need to go.
Might pick up a shoulder rig...maybe...I dont know.
Small of back carry has worked for lotsa folks before some figured out
money could be made makin/sellin holsters.

i'll just sit and wait for everyone to get their new concealed guns, and then announce: send your old carry guns to me!

Congratulations on the new addition to the family, Don! But did I actually see someone use the words "dislike" and "1911" in the same sentence? Oh, the horror! JK - everybody's tastes are different. (and some are VERY different!)

Thanks! and yeah, I know, I know. It's downright disgraceful to not like a 1911. I like the looks of them, but after my first handgun being a SIG P220 and then an HK...going from them to a 1911 and the much more complicated disassembly process...I just prefer non-1911 .45's. Can't beat the 1911 for looks, though.

Someone else mentioned the Glock 29...I was strongly considering that, as well, because I like the numbers that go along with full power 10mm loads, but since I don't, and don't plan to, reload, the ammo aspect of it is too expensive for me.

I have been looking arround for a concealable gun as well. I keep getting drawn back to the Smith and Wesson 360 or the Ruger LCR 357. I really like the reliability of the wheel guns..

I'm not trying to pick but the Ruger LCR is a 38+P not 357. The Ruger LCR is another great ccw pistol, lightweight and powerful enough to stop anyone. The only downfall I have found with it is that it has a longer trigger pull that takes some practice to get use to. Overall a good reliable firearm.

Maybe try the LCR 357 it is 17 oz. instead of 13 oz. but "drum roll" is a LCR chambered in 357 magnum

Oww....putting gun down and shaking hand.

For my 357 shooting I'll stay with my 6" S&W Ported 686. Tames the 357 enough to be able to draw pictures. With the 357 terminal ballistics, definitely a knock them down gun. This gun in the night stand drawer with low flash Double Taps, 12 guage under the bed.
