Glock VS Beretta for open carry my thoughts

My only complaint with Glocks are the price, if I could get one at dealer price or GSSF price which I believe to be $375 for a G17 Gen 3 but they are not worth $499 unless they have some extras (steel sights, extra mags, etc.). The Beretta, I don't like slide mounted safeties and would take the Taurus 92 over a current Beretta 92 then buy and modify a spare mag catch to take cheap Beretta mags.
