Nice job hijacking my thread and turning it into something that is no longer helpful.

Sorry. Forgot how tightly wound some people are around here. Happy holidays to you and your family.

Back on Topic. Empty holster, no.

How many forums have you been on? Our discussion was marginally off topic. It happens all the time. Noone posted on this thread in any attempt to derail it, or worse, get it locked.

Think of it this way. A bunch of people are sitting aroung a table and one of them asks a question, like you did in the OP. Several people answer and eventually someones answer starts another conversation. Just because all of us are not still sitting answering the original question, should we get up and get another table. It's really is not big deal. I mean, with all the threads that get entirely derailed, a little off topic discussion is harmless.

Back on Topic. Empty holster, yes but rarely.

How many of you wear an empty holster in places that you cannot have your firearm on you? Main places would be schools & your workplace where the employer has a no firearms policy to "protect" its employees.

I wear mine as offen as i can, with our ticking off the wife. Nor can i wear it on the job do too safety reasons while working around machines... I have to park my car on the street in i want too open carry before or after work, i'm really starting to get piss off about having to do this all the time!!!

One of the reasons i ask this question is because i have researched and know the law about open carry in Wisconsin, i researched and have settled on a firearm i wish to carry, but i have not come up with the funds to purchase the firearm or who i am going to purchase it from since i am 18 but i still want to promote open carry and let people know that open carry is out there and hopefully that conceal carry will not be too far out in the future.

If you need any more info on firearms, check with littlewolf...

I wear mine empty into bars when I shoot darts. Had a lady ask me saturday if it was a tazer, I said no it's for my firearm. Most of my friends know I carry and don't ask about it anymore, some still wonder why tho and I asked if they watch the news at all. They all had chance to read pamphlets too.

The only place I wear a empty holster is the places we're forbidden from carrying. Unfortunately my employer does not allow even an empty holster. My place of work is a Criminals do what ever you want to the sheep kind of place.

If any thing ever happens,

I have several escape routes for little ole me. The Sheep are on there own.

It is a heck of a lot easier to remove my gun than my holster. My holster is always present if I am wearing pants with few exceptions.
