Not really a theft, but "lost." It seems McX's collection continues to grow... Maybe there is a correlation?Outdoorsman 1
I think all of us can relate to your concerns on your first time ocing alone and there have been some over reactions (Brookfeild, Madison Racine). However There are thousands of times a week of opencarrying in Wisconsin that are event less and go unnoticed .
I general the worst case would be you are asked to leave.
A good first solo opencarry place might be Mcx's shop. the only thing you'll have to worry about there is theft of your firearm!!

ah yes lots of misplacen going on over there
because when its no big deal to you its likely to not be noticed by the other around you.
just my opinon from my times OCing
Oh ..ok...
I OC a wheel gun...Taurus Judge 6 1/2"... barrel on my hip...kinda hard not to notice...especially in a crowded grocery store... Maybe I should switch to my (future) CC weapon....XD-40....

Please, do not take this the wrong way but I believe you are just self conscious. I was too until I got a few OC's under my belt, so to speak. The 1st several times I was jumpy and though EVERYONE was starring at me. After a couple times, I just don't think about it and in my experience, no one else does either.
One question...
How could a store be "often frequented by OCers" and not even know they are there?
