Israel has always done an excellent job of defending themselves. Some of us remember six days in June 1967, when Israel took out the air strike capabilities of five Arab-speaking nations - on DAY ONE. It was "no contest". But, what does this have to do with the thread topic - "CHP Officer Shot"? Pax...

This does not speak to how good the Israeli air force was back then, more like it spoke to how crappy those Arab air forces were back then, and now for that matter. Ruskie air defense systems sucked big time back then too.

It was not meant to speak to "how good the Israeli Air Force was", but rather, to how good Israeli tactics were/are. Also, how determined they are to survive and not to be taken by surprise. (But again, this drifts off the thread topic of "CHP Officer Shot") Pax...

And since foreign aid to Israel was mentioned, keep in mind that it was American planes and American training that the "Israelis" used for those air strikes. None of this is easy math.
