Carry to the Capitol even with OCT
Friday, January 13, 2017 at 3 PM - 4 PM
Austin Texas State Capital
1100 Congress Avenue, Austin, Texas 78701
We will be meeting at the South Steps
"With the new legislature in session, it's time to let them know that it's way past time Texas recognized our constitutional right to not only keep arms, but to bear them!
Last legislative session was a step forward, but we are not through fighting for the full return of our Constitutionally protected natural right to self defense. Join us at the Capitol and let your voice be heard."
Speaker schedule is still being put together, but we expect Rep. James White and Rep. Jonathan Stickland.
It would be ideal that individuals attending try to schedule an appointment with the representative of their own district to speak to them and encourage their vote FOR pro-rights legislations and AGAINST anti-rights legislation. I think it would be ideal to coordinate with any others from your district and try to schedule one meeting together, rather than multiple separate meetings, to be respectful of time. The Facebook group or Facebook event page would probably be the best place to coordinate this, but if you aren't on Facebook I can try to help you coordinate by proxy thru me.
The more the merrier!
