A member on this board, Citizen, asked or suggested a few days ago that I should take my camera and go cover the Travryon protests in LA. I told him that only blacks and Mexicans would be there and they don't like white people and they would get violent.

Well, tonight a white cameraman and reporter were violently assaulted at a protest in Los Angeles.

I was right.

And the video disappeared from the Internet. Speculation (emphasis on speculation) is that it was some kind of hoax.

We don't know, because the video has been taken down and there is scant other evidence.

The similarities between this event and CaP's bits of stupidity are ironic. These folks went up to others and annoyed them into making the news they sought. Rather than simply being observers, they took part in the "news." That ain't being the "press."

Oh, and CaP, please stop with all these Zimmerman threads! Your side lost. Get over it. (More irony.)

I sarcastically told him to cover the police, not the protests--provide his self-described documentation and citizen oversight.

By the way, take notice that our sooper-patriot avoided a little violence. Proves he knows there is little danger in filming police. Cheap, easy patriotism stolen from the real patriots of '76.

And this is why you post links supporting your contention. The link I found seems to be a completely different event (the person being asked was the attacker) and the video was pulled, leading to rampant speculation into the truth of the matter. If you make a contention, honesty demands that YOU post the link to support it, not make others search for something, anything to try to get something of an idea what you are blathering about.
