Hummm.....bagels or rights? Real hard decision...

In the end Mr. Bodo has moved in the right direction (in my humble opinion) and my family will now eat at their establishments everytime we venture onto that side of the mountain and time allows. The unfortunate truth is that Mr. Bodo can't control his customers BUT he can train his employees and sway his policies. I was helped by a super nice younger gal (maybe a little younger than myself) and if she was nervous she sure didn't show it. The customers were nice and the older lady I held the door for was extremely appreciative and even returned the favor when we reached the inner door although I declined and took it for her. All in all I think this is the beginning if a beautiful relationship

A very well stated and thoughtful position BRT!

Thanks BODO for answering my question. i hope i do get to one of your establishments to try your food. i know since you have taking the time to comment on this site then i will especially take the time to come to your restaurant. but i may still carry a printed copy of your comments for safety sake :)

SHERIFF, i am kind of curious. are you someone whom promotes the open carry of a firearm? if you are, don't you think it is hypocritical that you would support an Anti gun establishment?

example would be would you still buy gas from a station that would not allow defensive carry inside?

Now you're just making stuff up to be a trouble maker.

The term is not accepted language in 2012.

They are Black or African-American.

The term is a reflection on the forum, not the moderator(s) who allow it to remain posted.

That's my opinion By God, wanna get Washington Post to conduct a poll on the term?

Call Obama a African American and see how many government lists your name ends up on.

EDIT: optiksguy, it's over now, THANK GOD!! This morning the derogatory N word used to descibe a black man or African American man has been censored in the software finally. We no longer have to look like gun toting racists when an old member decides the N word might look cute in his replies.

The software even went back and erased his initial use of the N word.

Bla....you quoted him. So that's what he's ranting about this morning.

The post was clear and the meaning was clear and Sheriff knows it. He's just having hissy fits about something:lol:

African American's and American Indians have been the most discriminated against groups in American history. Gun owners are rapidly moving up the list. Years ago I was talking to a Cherokee activist with A.I.M. and he said "Yeah, the Government as always tried to step on us and now it's looking at you".

BODO"S WAS DISCRIMINATING AGAINST A CONSTITUTIONALLY PROTECTED GROUP!

Now, let's see which word the Deputy doesn't like there....Cherokee, Government, AIM, D E P U T Y?:uhoh:

See how much better it looks when you say AFRICAN AMERICAN rather than N-E-G-R-O.

N-E-G-R-O is a racist term. Please don't use it in the future and cast a bad image on the Open Carry foum.

Thanks for your cooperation in this matter.

edit:::::::::: ha! Nevermind, the N term has been added to the auto censor!! Thanks Mike & John.

Reason link was wrong and looks like Sheriff's posts have been removed anyway

He didn't post a link.

optiksguy said.......

And I said...............

Call Obama a (the N word) and see how many government lists your name ends up on.

Family and I went to Bodo's yesterday for lunch on our way to skate at the indooor community center downtown.

I had no issues...
I don't normallly frequent this location, it's quite smaller than the one on Emmett street.

Never saw the problem as existing with Bodo's, but with the local psuedo Sheriff who would seem to like to stir the pot.

Miss seeing you and yours Marco - Lobby Day will be our next opportunity.
