Estate Sale...

Stopped by an estate sale in Dash Point today... big home with lot's of goodies. Including some reloading equipment, a big safe and a few guns...
The Estate Sale company had also hired a Pierce County deputy (off duty/in uniform) as security. Needless to say Deros and I walked through the house for a while, talked with the owner of the Estate Sale Co., got the information on guns, bought some things... had a brief conversation with the PCSO deputy and went on our way. Neither the Estate Co, nor the deputy ever asked about our sidearms. Both were very cordial and polite....

I did give my OCDO business card to the Estate Co owner so he could forward me the gun info....

Was out and about today many palces. I was o/c to sevral dr. apt. I had and the last one for my kid I saw a sign in their window saying no firearms allowed. I asked them what that was about and they said some orginization they just joined said they mandated they put a sign up. I informed the office staff that a sign has no leagal bearing and, unless they asked me to leave, I would continue to carry. The ladys just smiled and said "we know" just following what the orginization said.
I even ahd a chat this morning with a Bellevue cop on a motorcycle, no words said about my carry.

Cherberg Building, Olympia, WA

I attended the Sunshine Committee hearing today on CPL exemptions to the PDA.

Upon entering the building and noting which room the hearing was scheduled in I approached the Senate Security office and asked for directions. One of the Security Detail, looked at my hip and then offered directions to the hearing room.

A few minutes later another Senate Security person came into the room, looked around and left.

No problem getting my coffee at the Starbucks near the UW Tacoma...

bounced all over Yelm today getting random stuff done while waiting for rotors to be turned, doing my front brakes today....

did taxes yesterday, my CPA noticed me OCing and commented and had a brief conversation about an armed society being a polite society... yep! amazing.... ha!

still surprised more people don't OC, it's as legal as breathing yet 99% don't seem to know enough or care to do so. Spreading the word whenever and wherever I can.

OC'ed while refinancing my home in Oly last week, nobody said anything but being a stuffy office building, I'm sure there was some interesting conversations after I left. Free coffee too, thanks!

Because of a Facebook posting?
I have seen the pic that circulates but have never had anyone ask me to leave not seen a sign. Perhaps it's true or perhaps it's a sign from a state that bans guns in restraints that serve alcohol.

When my wife serves me alcohol while she has me in restraints, she usually considers me to be in such a state that she bans me from having my guns too ;)

I know, it seems like its great here in yelm. the girls who work quiznos on the weekends are pro-OC and the owner doesnt seem to care or doesn't notice, which i think most people don't.

Yesterday, I took my dog for a walk in Spanaway Lake Park. I had zero negative comments and one ataboy for OCing from some dude with a german shepherd. On my way out of the park, two PCSO cruisers pulled into the parking lot. They must have been looking for some place to eat lunch. I didn't see any illegal activity.

Agreed. OC'd all over Yelm this weekend getting stuff for the yard, etc. No a cross look or word said. Two questions about what (model/caliber, etc.) I was carrying and that was it. :)

Tom, if you break it just send it back they will send you a new one. I bought a multi-tool for $5, it had a broken screwdriver. I sent it in, and they sent me a new one.
