We interrupt the regularly scheduled program for this announcement: Spring has been temporarily delayed. It is cold out there.

Had a pleasant breakfast at Shoney's on W. Broad St.

Will be going to O'Charley's on Gaskins Rd. with DoubleTap and her mother this evening. Expect nothing other than quiet acceptance of OC.

We changed up our destination this evening to O'Charley's at 6291 W. Broad Street.

Worked out really well. I ordered salmon (had $5.00 coupon) but they were sold out of salmon. They gave me the $5.00 discount on a meal of my choice.

This restaurant has all new booths - very comfortable. You don't feel like you are sitting in a hole any more.

All in all a good experience OCing - tipped generously.

First OC breakfast of the day at Burger King on Jeff Davis near DuPont where I paid it forward and bought the next person's meal.

Second breakfast was across the street at Hardee's where I did see one set of goggle eyes, but no problem.

Also OCd at Comcast at 13724 Hull Street Rd. and at Publix grocery store in the same shopping center.

Had breakfast at home OCing.

Made quick runs to Wawa on Ironbridge Rd. near Meadowbrook HS and to Walmart on Hopkins Rd.

OC breakfasts at the usual Burger King and Hardee's then spent the day waiting and chasing Comcast rep to fix my no television issue. No problem with my ever present 1911.

Getting a credit from Comcast (service not delivered) was frustrating, but finally done after I demanded having a supervisor step into the mix.

Mega breakfast at Golden Corral on Providence Rd. with my purdy OCd 1911.

Had biscuits-n-gravy, bacon, French toast, bacon, Belgian waffle, bacon, and lemon aid.

A gentleman there fell all over himself giving me the thumbs up and other did have a minor case of goggle eyes.

Stayed close to home today. Ate breakfast here too. Having trouble keeping my hearing aids in place.

Did go out for an OC meal this evening at Capt D's near DuPont of Jeff Davis.

Those few people that might have felt uncomfortable at the sight of a gun are immediately put at ease when the cook makes a point of coming out and shaking my hand. Character reference apparently.

Had breakfast at Denny's on Research Plaza Way. No one left hungry.

OC'd at Lowe's on Shelia Rd. where I bought 5 boxes of Girl Scout cookies.

Also did a brief excursion into Home Depot on Forest Hill Ave. where the tech manager wasn't very technically knowledgeable.

Settling in at home now, waiting for DoubeTap's arrival and some quiet time.

Having my pre-breakfast cinnamon swirl toast with light brown sugar and more cinnamon. Will be leaving for Shoney's on W Broad St. shortly OCing.

Time to get up and hit the road ladies and gentlemen. You had plenty of sleep last night.

Shoney's is always a fun place to OC. It is much accepted by the staff, thereby defusing any misunderstanding.

Debbie who travels the USA in her RV was my server. She was greatly interested in DoubleTap's new business venture.

Finished up my OC day at Capt D's on Jeff Davis Hwy eating and watching three unsavory acting characters wander in and out.

As is customary, the cook came out to thank me for being there.

Then OCd at Mike's Auto Repair, Advance Auto, and Luceano's Repair all within a couple of blocks of BK as well as 360 Auto Repair on Midlothian.

Went by the Hearing Aid Place, Colonial Precious Metals, and Kentucky Fried chicken on Patterson Avenue.

Also OCd at Advance Auto and O'Reiley's on Jeff Davis looking for a mini 40 amp fuse.

Will be at our OC dinner at Extra Billy's on Broad St. tonight.

I hear Rise and Shine in Ashland calling me to breakfast. Probably the best place to correct over night caloric deficiency in Virginia - it is hiding in plain view and extremely gun friendly. They serve up generous portions with superb service - frequently 1/2 size is more than enough.

OCd at Bojangle's in Powhatan for my country Ham biscuit fix. A sheriff's deputy was completely unconcerned.

Then waked through the Goodwill store right behind there.

Will be OCing at the Hearing Aid Store on Paterson Avenue shortly.
