MINOCQUA (WAOW) --[/b] Police investigate a death in a quiet Minocqua neighborhood. They're releasing very few details at this time, but do confirm they found a body inside a home and they're investigating the death.

Police tape lines the streets of Country Club Road in Minocqua. Local, county and state investigators trying to piece together the clues that may give them the answers to how and why a person died inside this home.

Neighbor T.J. Wallschlaeger says, "I've lived here my whole life and for something like this to happen in a small town it's just too bizarre."

According to a press release police were sent to the home because someone requested a health and welfare check. That's when they found a body inside.

Wallschlaeger says, "Detectives showed up here this morning and talked to my wife and I for about an hour and trying to figure out what's going on. They don't have much information to share with us, but hopefully we'll find out soon."

The police presence heavy throughout the neighborhood. Police tape lining not only the house, but a nearby shed where investigators took pictures of the inside of this car.

Police haven't released any names they won't confirm if they body is a man or woman or even if they believe the person died suspiciously. But neighbors say a middle aged woman lived inside the home.

T.J. Wallschlaeger, lives just behind the home where the body was found. He tells Newsline 9 he and his wife were questioned extensively about their neighbor and her whereabouts.

Wallschlaeger says, "Just if we knew her, if we'd heard anything suspicious, odd people walking around here, but they were combing the woods all morning, so I don't know what they're looking for."

This quiet Minocqua neighborhood is full of questions and rumors. Everyone just wondering what's happened.

Wallschlaeger says, "Police everywhere. It's been kind of hectic around here. A lot of questioning going on and everyone is kind of curious, what's going on, all the neighbors are wondering what's going on, and nobody really knows what's going on yet."

Police did tell neighbors that they have nothing to worry about and the community is not at risk. But, they are asking everyone to report any suspicious activity.

If you have any information call the Minocqua Police Department.

As far as I know we still haven't heard what happened to the couple killed in their Barre Mills home. There police also said neighbors need not worry, but sure didn't give any reason not to. I think that has been like a month ago. It's like we are supposed to downplay these murders and just forget about them?

Just as we are not to worry about the 17 Afghan Soldiers that have vanished from a Military Base in Texas.

No big deal though, they only vanished sporadically over the past 2 years.

They only had U.S. Military access to Defense buildings.

The U.S. Military feels that 17 is an acceptable loss, considering there are currently about 3,400 foreign troops in the U.S. being trained.

Trained on our tax dollars.

Taught to speak English.

Acceptable loss?

Waiting 2 years to tell us they lost 17 trained foreign soldiers in Texas?
