I almost feel bad for people that have nothing better to do and no other way to entertain themselves than spending their valuable time trying to troll an internet group that really doesn't seem to mind being trolled.

While I freely admit I feel the members of this fine forum should have more say in it's control, I also feel I owe you an apology. I had no idea how bad this Eric person was. The only explanation I can offer is that with all his posts scrubbed I was not aware of his true motivations. I hope you realize my OP was not intended as an attack on you. It was a mistaken attempt to defend the back and forth discussion of true members of topics that might be viewed as controversial by the occasional forum skimmer or an anti. With that said I apologize and now see why you did what you did.

I really hate message board personal attacks, but I guess that speaking out against trolls (true trolls, not just folks one does not like, but things that deliberately try to disrupt a board) naturally results in insulting such trash.

This thing seems to be proud of his deliberately hurtful behavior. He should be ashamed. That he isn't tells us about his narcissism and sociopathy.

I reported his first post and slapped him on ignore (along with the poster who promoted the troll in this thread; shame on him, too). I hope that the mods delete this post, the troll's self-serving posts, his account, and this thread. They might also want to keep the troll-promoter on their radar.

What seems to happen with gun websites is at first they allow edgy topics and opinions. After the website is established and more people join the site turns more conservative. Meaning they are quicker to censor, ban content and add rules.
