Do any of you have a reason that the activity level here has been so low of late? Is it because Biden is president (for now) and the outlook for our Second Amendment rights doesn't look particularly good?
Your in a stanch anti-open carry state, unless, of course, you have your Ronco Pocket Fisherman close at hand. Don't wander far from the Withlacoochee river.Dopey Joe is not my president. My Second Amendment Right is granted by my Creator and not subject to the whims of Sedevacantist politics. The conspiracy of ignorance masquerades as common sense.
I check in every morning in precisely the same sequence of my reading.
I suppose that I am waiting for the absent janitor to clean up Dog Boy’s leavings.
I have recently finished re-reading Nineteen Eighty-four. I am reading, and will be for some time, On Nineteen Eighty-four: Orwell and Our Future (Gleason, Goldsmith, Nussmaum ed’s), a collection of essays, the first of which, ‘A Defense of Poesy (The Treatise of Julia)’ by Elaine Scarry (Princeton University Press. Scribd.) is a gem. I have finished Alexandr Solzhenitsyn’s The GULAG Archipelago Vol-I. I am waiting for issue of ‘12 More Rules” by Jordan Peterson.
We, 72 and 82 are well and healthy, have been. We are about packed for ten weeks in open rural Florida bicycling the Withlacoochee SP bike trail where we were when the Plandemic hysteria was declared.
And now an inevitable word from Dog Boy Solus Ipse.

Only the shadow knows.......JT, et al., of course the out-of-the blue and unprovoked degrading commentary expressed by dougie towards another member is/could also be a prime consideration why this premium OC information forum is not frequented by JQPublic nor former membership...
just a leap of faith, but could be a causal factor...
Its not the cowboys that stampede the herd but its the wannabe cowboys. In reality they do not sit the saddle as tall as they do in their dreams.

AP, so glad you taught your daddy well...and at such a tender age too!I remember as a small child my dad telling me that if a rock was thrown into a pig pen the one that squealed was the one that got hit.
The question should be expanded to not only where has everyone gone but why did they go?
Please, pray tell, what gun forum doesn't have squabbling?............................
Given the rancor here, it's become a poor place to organize efforts to legalize and normalize OC.
Here's one of the main reasons for OCDO's slowdown:
That's not what the map looked like 20 years ago. Of the five states that don't allow OC, only Florida and South Carolina have a chance of flipping.
Of the 15 states that require a permit to OC, five of them (MA, CT, RI, NJ, MD) will never flip. In at least MA, NJ, and MD, any mere mortal who obtains a license would never dare OC, because the license could be revoked for "suitability".
So, there are only 12 states that can reasonably be improved. The efforts there are in state-level groups.
