Not lawful in Ohio. My firearm is either in a holster on my body or in the glove box.

In your lap is a bad place. Read up on the Miami FBI shootout. At least one FBI agent lost his gun which flew onto the floor of his vehicle.

In my holster, although I did think briefly of carrying cross draw, because of the seatbelt. But with the paddle holster I learned to just slide it forward slightly before sitting down,

No problem carrying in my truck in California

See attached ....Yes its a locked case and yes they are loaded just gotta install the handgun mount inside the cab next weekend :) Never had issues with traffic stops or anti gun "crybabies" or people running away screaming as I drive by :)
