Where do you keep your gun while driving?

I find it hard to unholster seated and its kind of uncomfortable. So mostly i keep my Glock 32C in my lap so its close and ready.

Not lawful in Ohio. My firearm is either in a holster on my body or in the glove box.

In your lap is a bad place. Read up on the Miami FBI shootout. At least one FBI agent lost his gun which flew onto the floor of his vehicle.

In my holster on my side. It's still comfortable there and I can draw from there as well.

I have snug fitting bucket seats so the gun at 3 o'clock is no good.

My car has bucket seats so I keep it in my cup holder.

In my holster, although I did think briefly of carrying cross draw, because of the seatbelt. But with the paddle holster I learned to just slide it forward slightly before sitting down,
